When I woke up, I was laying on Carl's shoulder. The book was in his lap and the pages were swaying.
We must have fallen asleep like that.
I got up and stretched. I decided not to wake Carl and looked out of the flap to the tent.
It was still raining. Even more than yesterday. The small dip in the land around us was filled with water.
I saw that Daryl was looking out of his tent too. I forced a small smile as he looked around.
We both knew what was going on and it wasn't funny at all.
There was going to be a down pour and it was going to go on for a while.
We couldn't go out in the rain and find out what was going on with the Walkers. We couldn't go on runs.
Carl awoke and yawned. I turned to him and watched as he stretched.
"Carl, this place is going to flood."
He shook the sleepiness from his eyes and came over I where I was standing.
He looked out at the world around us.
"What're we going to eat?" he asked.
I rolled my eyes. Boys.
"We're going to have I go out in the rain." I said as I moved to my small bag in the corner of the tent and pulled out some raggedy clothes.
"What'cha doing?" Carl asked as I took off the hoodie and tied my hair back with an elastic band.
I pulled on the bloody shirt,"Going for a run. I don't want to get the clean clothes rained on."
He pulled out dirty clothes from his bag and put them on too.
"I'm going with you," he said.
I kissed him,"I wouldn't want it any other way."

As we walked, we kept an eye out for Walkers.
There weren't any.
In the distance, I saw a house. Grabbing Carl's hand, I ran to the house doors.
We had been out in the rain for hours and we had found very little. All we had found were a few granola bars and a few bottles of water.
When we got into the house, it was quiet. Carl and I shook out heads to rid of the excess water that didn't absorb into our clothes.
I told Carl to check upstairs while I checked the basement. He hesitated, but agreed quickly.
As he walked up the stairs, I walked down the other set.
It all happened so quick that I didn't even notice it until I heard the growl.
No, not a Walker. A man.
He covered my mouth and pushed me up against the wall. I tried to scream, but his hand was too big and he sound was muffled.
The man pushed all of his weight into me as he moved one hand below my eye level.
"It's been a long time since I've had my way" the man growled as moved his hands toward my pants.
I squirms and fidgeted to et away from him and didn't stop until his hand whipped across my face.
My eyes went blurry from the impact and I slightly faltered against the wall.
His hands were down my pants by I didn't have enough energy to call out or scream.
Suddenly, a blur brown went past my eyes and then complete darkness.

When I awoke, I was laying on a couch. I moved to sit up, but I felt the pressure of a hand on my chest. I panicked and threw the hand off of me and attacked its owner.
When my vision and hearing cleared, I realized that I had been attacking Carl and screaming.
He shushed me and tried to pry me off of him.
There I collapsed and cried into my boyfriend's chest,"He... he touched..."
"Shhhh,"Carl muttered into my ear,"He's gone now."
I looked around and noticed the man on the floor with a bullet wound in his head.
I sobbed into Carl's chest even harder.
