Chapter 26

We finally arrived at the airport here in Laguindingan, and I felt jubilant from the fresh air. Hindi naman sa walang hangin sa tinitirhan ko sa Quezon pero this just feels so new yet familiar. It sends me fresh vibes talaga.

'Okay finally, so ano na Bell? Should we just wait here hanggang pumuti buhok natin?" Jennifer asked

"Hoy Jenn, bibig mo. Mahiya ka naman." Marc said causing Jenn to snort

"Whatever.." she blurted out, literally pissed from the convo

"Away nanaman, can't you stop arguing just for one day?" Tere asked them but both of them just showed unpleasant reactions.

"Hep hep hep!!" I yelled like some referee in order to stop them, but then heard Douglas sarcastically responded hurray, making me clench my fist.

"Oi Douglas gusto mo bang kalbuhin kita?" I glared at him and he covered his entire head. "Gusto mo atang putulin ko yang immaculate record mo of continuously having a curled hair. Well since birth but who cares?" Oo, hindi ko rin naintindihan anong mga pinagsasabi ko.

"No way! Are you even a certified hair dresser or what? My poor signature kulot hair" he whined annoyingly.

"Of course not kaya don't act like an epal."

"Anong ginawa ko?" He asked trying to sound innocent, trying to act innocent..

Kenneth's point of view:

I stood still habang pinagmamasdan ang chaotic conversation between Mabel and her friends.

No care, no love, just pure chaos. I remembered the ride earlier and it did bother me a lot. To be honest, the entire ride was super uncomfortable.

Ewan ko, baka due to the fact na nakatabi ko yung lalaking overprotective bestfriend ni Mabel na halatang-halatang may pagtingin sa kaniya. Torpe mo pre.

And due to the fact that I couldn't take a short nap because maybe he will pull a prank on me. I may sound like a paranoid one, but naninigurado lang.

Just this moment, Mabel and I looked at each other's eyes for a split second, but I quickly looked away. No I won't be intimidated by that suplada look, never.

Then there she is, speaking very loudly. I wonder how did her friends survive with this behavior of hers. Baka sanay na nga talaga sila.

"Hoy guys, umayos nga kayo, nandito kaya si Kenneth, don't make him uncomfortable" she said

Well I already am Mabel, thanks for the concern. I wouldn't be more appreciative.

"Yeh right, the outcast", and there he goes.. the vlogger friend said.

"Gago to ah.." Mabel scolded him and slapped his arm. Ouch, the sound from her slap says it all.

"A-ano? Sorry? Okay?" Chris stammered, and as I looked at Mabel, she just rolled her eyes at him. Well he deserve that anyway, how dare him call me an outcast. I firmly believe na mainit talaga ulo niya sakin. Is it because of the incident that happened weeks ago? When she was drunk?

Well I don't know about that pero hahayaan ko nalang siya. Manigas siya diyan. Ipagsisimba nalang kita pre, do not worry.

Napangiti nalang ako from my thoughts and felt someone tapped my shoulder. Mabel's friend? Ashtine I believe?

"Nandito na daw yung van." She told me and smiled warmly.

I didn't know mayroon din palang matinong kaibigan si Mabel, an angle one. As I was about to speak, a guy approached us. Isa rin sa kaibigan ni Mabel I believe?

"Heyyy" he said and inakbayan si Ashtine. "Is there a problem?" he asked with a keen look.

"Wala Ryan.. At Alisin mo yang braso mo sa balikat ko." Oh so Ryan's his name. She pushed his arm away and walked away with her luggage.

"Hi, I'm Ryan Clyde" he told me formally and reached his hand to me causing me to shake his hand.

"Bell's cousin" he said

"Bell?" I asked, confused. Who the heck is Bell?

"Oh, si suplada" He pointed at Mabel and my mouth formed an O. Oh right, i'm an idiot.

"Ah, nice to meet you" I told Mabel's cousin, Ryan.

"You too.. And, don't mind the vlogger guy. Parang babae yun kung topakin, so  pagpasensyahan mo nalang kay?" sabi niya sabay tapik sa balikat ko, nginitian ko lang siya bilang tugon.

The words he uttered defines him. Well he isn't a threat, so good to know.
