Habang nag-uusap kami ni Kenneth, we can hear two people fighting or nagkakasagutan coming from the counter. Gosh, it's the barista and a customer. Mukha atang lasing sila pareho. What do I expect, they can normalize it here now.
I will not tolerate fights like this.. I stood up ready to go and talk to them but there's a grip on my wrist.
"Anong ginagawa mo? You are going to them? Don't, baka masali ka pa, ako nalang." Kenneth said stopping me with my tracks. He made me sit again sa upuan and leave it to himself.
I sighed in frustration and waited for him na bumalik. I looked at the three in the counter and while the Barista is still arguing with the man.
Suddenly, the Batista throwed something from his pocket and I thought it was an explosive, that it landed straightly on Kenneth's and my table. I flinched for a second, but then I realized it is just an aid for writing, a pen.
It was a familiar looking pen, and a customized one I think.
I took it in my hand and stared closely at it, there was a gold writing on it.
It can not be.. Why is my sister's name engraved on this? It says Stella Cheryl Zamora.
After some time of thinking, I remember kuya Enzo.. The lover of my late ate Stella. The one who they believed, killed ate.
But no, I do not believe their accusations, my ate is too precious kay kuya Enzo. I don't think mayroon siyang motibo para gawin yun. Especially when I know his love for ate, bihira yun.
The strange thing is, bakit ito napadpad dito? Why does that Barista have this? Mayroon ba siyang kinalaman sa pagkamatay ni ate? Did he stole this from her?
Regardless, I will take this as a chance para malaman kung sino talaga ang pumatay kay ate. No one can stop me now.
Kuya Enzo gave this pen to ate Stella on their first anniversary and nandoon pa ako mismo.
Kuya can not also be that Barista, he stayed in prison for five years. After a time of deciding, napagdesisyunan kong itago nalang ito. Baka kailanganin ko pa to someday with the thing I really have in mind before.
The case will be open once again. Bibigyan kita ng hustisya ate Stella.
I securely put the pen inside my pocket and waited for Kenneth once again.

It was a bitter cold evening, and I can feel my head spinning and spinning.. Is it me? Or is it the world? Huh-?Kenneth's point of view
"Jinggle bells, jingle bells, jinggle-" kanta ni Mabel na parang ano. Sintunado ba naman kumanta?
Sabi niya hindi siya iinom, tapos anyare?
"Oii, easy oi.." I told her with concern as she clutched tighter to my arms.
"all the way—" lasing na talaga siya. Ganito ba talaga to malasing? Kumakantang wala sa tono? Wait, what am I talking about?
"There's no time to judge Jimuel" I mentally told my self staring at the short girl clutching at my arms, drunk.
"She's even beautiful without her glasses" I thought as a strand of hair glides on her cheeks perfectly.
Maganda nga, arogante naman. Sayang ka Amabella, magsisisi magiging asawa mo, sige ka. She never learnt. Habang naglalakad ay mayroon kaming nadaanan na pusa, and this girl with me suddenly took the cat in her arms without hesitation.
"Miming..." She kneeled down and started squishing the cat, "Kenneth, iuuwi ko siya, thank you!" Teka teka, anong iuuwi? No one will bring home a cat, especially baka may-ari na sa pusang ito, baka madamay pa ako sa pagiging iresponsable ni Mabel.
"No no, baka mayroong nagmamay-ari diyan." Babala ko sakanya, ofcourse you can't just take / adopt a cat from the street, baka nawala lang ito kaya nagpalaboy-laboy sa kalsada.
"Nahh.." she whined, "Imposibleng may owner to-" she stuttered, ofcourse she's still drunk, how am I supposed to get her to sober before class starts tomorrow, or is there any? Saturday bukas.. I almost forgot about that thing. Anyways,
"Kahit na, let us just go home to the dorm, don't be hard-headed." I said and inalalayan si Mabel na tumayo and started to walk. I looked at her, and bakas parin sa kanyang mukha ang lungkot, Ugh I believe it's all about that cat again.
This girl must be really attached to animals, especially cats.
Syempre, after seeing her expression nakonsensya ako kaya, "Stay here for a while, kukunin ko yung pusa, wag ka nang sumimangot, pumapanget ka kaya, ew." I told her and he clapped her hands and sat by herself.
Binalikan ko yung pusa and carried it. "Sige here it is." I said and she stole the cat from me, "For your information, it is a she, babae siya." she said, emphasizing the she word. Andaming alam ng babaeng ito, unbelievable. She will be a great lawyer someday, not great as me but.. great enough to help and solve cases.
"Yes yes, ang dami mong alam, halika na." I said while she's petting the cat, adoring its every gestures and charm.
She's really something, how come she can still talk about these things kahit lasing siya, abnormal ba ito? or nagpapanggap lang na lasing? Nevermind, ewan ko rin sa kanya.
The way back home was a rough yet funny one, she kept singing and sometimes telling me random stories.
I can't help but laugh at her, she can be funny rin naman sometimes aside sa pagmamaldita.
