Amabella's point of view:
"Bye anak! Take care of yourself okay?, This is your first time in law school so you should act maturely" mom shouted bidding me goodbye, ofcourse I would act maturely mom.
"Yes mom! Don't worry, kaya ko na to" sagot ko habang sinusuklayan yung buhok ko, basa pa kasi.
"Are you ready?" dad asked me while am fixing my coat.
"Yes dad, you can start the engine.. I don't want to be late sa first day.. I should rather be presentable and punctual right?" I said and he started the engine of the car.
I sighed and stared at the house through the window, I will miss being here. I waved at mom while smiling, "see you soon mom" I thought to myself. With a final sigh, the house I grow up in faded out of my sight.
Not too long, I did not noticed that we already arrived in the law school. It seems like the ride was only seven minutes.
I stepped out of the car and smiled at the view in front of me, this is just like my dream. A dream came true. It seems like yesterday, when I was just twelve years old, dreaming about studying on a prestigious law school. . If I am the twelve year old girl like before, I will surely jump out of joy. Well I am still delighted and happy like those good old times, even before I arrived in the law school, but I grew up. Jumping isn't my thing right now.
"Nak, mag-ingat ka ha, lalo na't you will live by yourself again.."
"Don't worry dad, I will always remember mom and your advice to me, so you do not have anything to worry about, I am big now, I can handle this.. You raised a strong lady eh." I said giving him a muscle pose and he just chuckled at my silliness.
"Wait, asan ka nga pala mag-s'stay habang nag-aaral ka?" my uninformed dad asked.
"Haven't mom told you already? She had already chosen a dorm where I will be staying for the entire sem." I said while taking out the heavy luggage that I packe a while ago.
"It's just near the law school, and it'll just prolly take me three minutes to get there so it is very worth it since it's not too far." I explained further.
"Alright, just keep our advice for you in mind, dont't forget those." he said and hugged me "I will miss you Bell."
"I will miss you too dad."I said and bid him farewell and kissed him on the cheek.
I walked while dragging my luggage, I couldn't believe how heavy this is, it's almost like I brought my entire room in here. But oh well, atleast I have packed everything I will need this year. I don't want to arrive to the dorm and be somewhat like: I forgot this and that.
Finally, I arrived in front of the dorm and I met the land lady, in fairness she's chatty, I like her.
"Oh hija, your room will be room number 345, and you'd have a room mate. Based on what I remember, that person is also a law student, that's studying at the law school near here." she said handing me a key to the room.
I rolled my eyes hearing what she said, again? I really hate having a room mate jus because I can't concentrate if I will do a task or just relax, in general.
"Ah, madam? Is my room mate a female?" I asked with full curiosity hoping it would be a girl or maybe a dog will do..
She averted her gaze to me, with a joking laughter, which I thought, contains a bad sickening meaning.
"Lalaki, kaaalis lang niya kanina para ilagay ang kanyang mga gamit sa room niyo. Sana maging magkaibigan kayo" the landlady said and patted my shoulder
