***THE PARAGRAPHS IN BOLD ARE FROM MAD-EYE MOODY'S PoV!!!***

Sirius curled up and faced away from Remus as he turned back to himself, not being able to bear seeing him in pain. He stayed in dog form until it was over, and he heard Remus groan in pain. He transfigured quickly, his own body aching, and lowered himself to the floor next to Remus. 'You ok, Moony?' Sirius whispered, dropping his head to Remus' shoulder.

'I've been worse. Thank you for being here tonight, love.' Sirius didn't respond, and felt the weight of Remus' chin on the top of his head. They would sit here for a while after a full moon, waiting for Remus to gain enough strength for apparition. 'Can we just go home. I just want to sleep.' Sirius lifted his head, smiling, and squeezed Remus' hand. With a *crack* they disappeared. Sirius apparated straight into their room, not really caring if the protective enchantments would go off, and settled Remus down into bed. 'Thank you.' He croaked, closing his eyes. Sirius slipped in beside him, not bothering to change. Remus instantly rolled onto his back so Sirius could lay his head on his chest, listening to his heart beat. Remus' breathing slowed, indicating to Sirius he was asleep. Sirius had tears welling in his eyes, wishing he could take the pain away from Remus, wishing it so desperately. He had forgotten about the protective enchantments, and forgot Mad-eye would come bursting in.

Mad-Eye threw open Remus and Sirius' bedroom door, ready to question them. He had been alerted that someone had apparated straight into their room, and he thought they were smart enough not to do that. Never mind. The two men were laying exactly how they always did, arms round each other, Sirius' head on Remus' chest. Remus' eyes were shut, but his face fixed with a look of weariness and pain. Sirius' eyes were open and damp with tears, a long scratch down one cheek. 'Wha- Oh, it's you. Hold on.' Sirius muttered, easing Remus' arm off him. Sirius looked exhausted, like he did after a panic attack, dark circles lining his tired eyes and his face pale. 'Don't worry about it, lad, I can see it's you.' Moody stated, nodding his head. 'Go back to sleep, son, Dumbledore's called a meeting for the Order later this afternoon, I'll send Molly Weasley by to pick you up.' Without waiting for an argument, Moody strode out of the room, closing the door softly behind him.

Sirius forced his head back onto Remus' chest, too tired to care if Mad-eye was sending Molly over to pick them up for some Order rubbish. Then he remembered. He was supposed to check on Harry as soon as they were home. So, with a sigh, Sirius slipped out of Remus' arms and lightly tapped on Harry's bedroom door. It opened to reveal Harry sitting at his desk, the record player on low and parchment spread around him. 'Hi. I figured you were home when Mad-eye appeared, didn't want to disturb you.' He said lowly. Sirius gazed at him for a moment, wondering how someone who seemed to lack common sense in day to day life seemed to understand the important stuff. 'Yeah, Remus is sleeping. I think I'm going to take a nap too, you'll be ok?' Harry nodded, and turned his head back to whatever he was writing. Sirius made his way back to his and Remus' room and resumed his position in Remus' arms, where he spent most of his time nowadays. Remus was still snoring softly, his body laying the same way as Sirius had left him. Sirius slipped under his arms and rested on his chest, the heavy beat of Remus' heart putting Sirius to sleep.

'Sirius? Remus, dear? Alastor sent me to pick you two up.' Sirius was shaken awake, and he leapt back, terrified for a second. He rubbed his eyes blearily only to see it was just Molly. 'Oh, hi.' He mumbled, 'give us two secs.' Molly smiled softly and shut the door behind her. 'Moony? We've got an Order meeting to go to.' Sirius whispered in Remus' ear. Remus rolled over and tugged a loose strand of Sirius' hair. 'Great.' He grumbled, 'do we have to?' Sirius looked at him for a long moment, his head full of concern, the realised Remus was joking. 'Yes!' He giggled, slipping a hand behind Remus' back to help him up. 'Help me?' Remus whined, pointing at the clothes folded on the dresser. Sirius shook his head fondly and quickly dressed himself, pausing to brush his hair, then helped Remus into the clothes he had been directed to. 'Molly's waiting.' Sirius laughed, watching Remus collapse onto the bed again. Remus groaned, then sat up. Sirius' eyes followed him as he slowly crawled across the bed to reach his glass of water. 'I could've got that for you.' He said pointedly, 'come on, Molly will have our heads off.' Remus' knees buckled when he stood up, so the two men stood bickering about whether Remus should come or not. Sirius wanted him to stay home and Remus wanted to go to the meeting. 'Boys? Are you almost ready?' Molly called, tapping lightly on the door.
