Marlene saw Sirius and Remus break down all the time, but sometimes her heart just ached for them. And Harry. Marlene was watching him now, he seemed determined to die. 'We all went through hell, but that kid's trying to make a record.' Marlene muttered, as James came up beside her. He pretended not to hear. Marlene and Dorcas had started a riot up... Wherever they were when they saw Umbridge torturing Harry and his friends, and had a party when Lupin finally got rid of her.
Being dead was weird. It was like watching security cameras. Marlene just had to glance away, thinking of the person she wanted to see, and glance back at the hole in the... Well, Marlene supposed they were clouds, and that person would be there. Marlene looked away now, thinking of Sirius, and when she looked back again he wasn't alone. Sirius and Remus were alone in Remus' office, and Sirius was rubbing Remus' shoulders. So he still did that a lot. 'MARLEY! DINNER!' Marlene left the scene reluctantly, wandering back to where Lily's shout had come from. 'Alright?' The ginger smiled, handing Marlene a plate. 'Looking at the others again?' Marlene nodded, dragging a chair out from the table. 'Remember Sirius used to massage Sirius' shoulders after a full moon?' Marlene said suddenly, just as Lily was dishing up dinner for herself and James. 'Yeah? Is that what he's doing now?' Lily asked, 'JAMES! DORCAS!' both of them came running and greeted the other girls with a smile. 'Dinner.' Lily said, handing James a plate and getting two more.
'Mar's been watching Sirius and Remus.' Lily said, setting down her knife and fork. 'Said Sirius still rubs Remus' shoulders. Bet neither of them have changed a bit.' Lily was right, mostly. She only really looked in on Harry, seeing anyone else made her too emotional. 'Bet they have.' Jay said mournfully, and Marlene rolled her eyes. 'Sure.' She smirked, flicking a bit of potato at him.
'Bitch.' He said, throwing a bit of carrot back.
'Language, Potter.' Lily responded absently.
