Birthday Surprise - Part Two

Sirius woke up to the usual bang on Moody barging in. He opened his eyes irritably and glared up at him. 'Keep it down would you, Moody. There's eight hungover teenagers here.' Moody grunted and stormed out again, and Sirius heard the front door slam shut. Harry appeared in the doorway, rubbing his eyes. 'Bloody Moody.' He grumbled. 'Does he have to show up every damn morning?' Sirius shrugged, sitting up. He glanced down at Remus, who blinked at him. 'Anyone else awake?' He asked, keeping one hand clutching Remus' under the duvet. 'Fred is, went to the bathroom as I came across. Hermione mumbled something at me but I'm pretty sure she's still mostly asleep.' Sirius nodded and rubbed his eyes, wriggling his hand out of Remus'. 'I'm going to clear up before you lot come downstairs.' Sirius glanced at Remus for permission before ushering Harry out. 'You can go back to bed if you want.' Sirius said, 'oh, pass this potion round, would you. Molly will have my head if you're all hungover.' Harry took eight little bottles of potion from Sirius' arms and barged back into his room. 'Wakey, wakey! Rise and shine!' He chanted loudly, grinning back at Sirius. Sirius grinned back at him and watched as Ron threw a pillow at him, and one of Hermione's hands came through the curtains they'd obviously put up in the night. Harry knocked loudly on Ginny and Luna's door. 'Wake up! I'm coming in!' He called, pushing open the door. 'Blimey Harry!' Ginny yelped. Sirius laughed aloud, wondering why on earth Harry was still standing in the room. 'You alright girls?' Sirius yelled, not daring to go any closer to the room. 'Harry surprised us.' Luna called back, so Sirius folded his arms to wait for Harry to emerge. 'What was that?' He asked, as Harry approached him. 'Dunno. They were literally laying as far apart as they could and Ginny just yelled at me.' He veered over to Fred, George and Lee's room. 'Guys? Get up! I'm coming in!' Harry yelled, then paused before going in. 'Drink these, your Mum won't be pleased if you're hungover.' There was a clink of bottles and Harry came out empty handed. 'Well done, champ, get back to bed for another few hours, I'm hoping Molly doesn't come 'til tea time.' Harry grinned and went back to his room, shutting the door behind him. 'Moony.' Sirius mumbled, shutting his own door. 'What's the time?' Remus growled from under the duvet, sticking a hand out the top. 'Too early.' He grunted. Sirius laughed and crawled in next to him. 'We should go clean up.' He whispered, curling round Remus. 'Five more minutes.' Remus mumbled, snapping his eyes shut. 

'BREAKFAST!' Sirius shouted, flipping the pancakes. 'FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE!' Harry and Ron skidded down the stairs first, shoving each other, laughing. Fred, George and Lee were close seconds, trotting eagerly down the stairs. Hermione, Ginny and Luna came down a few minutes later, nudging each other and giggling. 'Morning, ladies. We've got cereal, toast, pancakes or eggs.' Sirius said, pointing at each tray in turn. 'Help yourselves.' Ginny headed straight towards the pancakes, Hermione had eggs and Luna took toast and jam. 'I've owled Molly, told her not to come pick you all up until dinner time.' Sirius told them, gulping down the last of his pancakes. Standing up from the table, he yelled, 'REMUS! IF YOU WANT BREAKFAST GET YOUR LAZY ARSE DOWN HERE.' Remus appeared a few moments later, already dressed. 'Merlin, Remus, you make the rest of us look lazy.' Sirius said, loading Remus' plate with pancakes, then passing him the Nutella, jam, strawberries and chocolate. 'Thanks.' Remus said, opening the jam. Everyone gulped down the rest of their breakfast in silence, and Sirius was relieved to see the hangover potion had mostly worked. 'Right!' Sirius said, rubbing his hands together as Remus finished, 'what's the game plan for today then?' Sirius glanced around the table, taking in the anxious stares. 'I take it no one's thought that far ahead. That's fine, me neither. We've got a few options. We can go up to Hogsmeade, maybe meet some of your other friends, we can go up to a beach... we can go swimming... we could hang out here... what do you wanna do?' Harry glanced at Rona and Hermione, silently conversing with them. He then cocked his head at Ginny, and she nodded slightly. Ginny silently confirmed with Luna, Fred and George, who then confirmed with Lee. 'Alright, I think we'd all like to go up to the beach.' Harry said, turning back to Sirius. 'Ok! Right, let's go get ready, then I'll meet you all back down here.' The sound of chairs scraping across the floor filled the room as Sirius ushered the kids to get ready.
