Sirius woke up with butterflies in his stomach. It was December 31st, and he had a wedding to get to. He'd slept in the girls dorm, as Remus had convinced him to let Ginny and Hermione get him ready rather than the boys. 'Rise and shine!' Ginny called, pulling open the bed curtains. 'Alright?' Sirius asked, getting up. He hoped he looked better than he felt. 'Come on, Remus has been up since five going over his vows, bless him. He's just as terrified as you.' Sirius had been awake pretty early too, but had been terrified to get up, because that meant it was happening. They'd had almost two months to plan the wedding, wasn't nearly enough time, but everything had gone perfectly. 'You look gorgeous.' Sirius grinned, leaning in to kiss Ginny's cheek. Ginny really did look beautiful. The girls had each added their own small touches to the outfits, but Sirius hadn't seen Hermione and Luna yet. All three of them had denim jackets and long white dresses, but Ginny had lined her face with gold glitter and the shoes she'd picked were gold plaited sandals. She'd added a gold belt around the middle of the dress and her hair was up in a gold ribbon. 'Hermione!' Ginny called, and Hermione came out of the bathroom. Hermione's hair was pinned up with a few curls framing her face, and she was wearing touches of gold too. Hermione had applied some gold eyeliner, that matched with the golden clips that pinned her hair. She was wearing different golden sandals with glitter along the front. 'You look stunning! Both of you! Where's Luna?' Luna came in from the bathroom, looking like a goddess. Her hair was loosely plaited on her shoulder, and she was wearing a golden leaf crown on her head and she had a golden belt like Ginny. Luna was also wearing the same shoes as Ginny, but she'd added golden glitter to hers, and a gold necklace hung around her neck. 'Oh, girls, you look fantastic! Now help me!' Ginny and Hermione wasted no time, whilst Luna wandered off elsewhere. While Ginny brushed and loaded his hair with hairspray, Hermione attacked Sirius' face with black eyeliner then got irritated when she kept smudging his grey nail polish.

'Looking good, sweetheart.' Sirius spun in his chair at the sound of a woman's voice, and grinned. 'Mary! Hi, hi, hi, hi, hi!' He said, scampering over to her. Sirius practically jumped into her arms, squeezing Mary tightly. 'You're not marrying me, love!' She laughed, holding him at arms length so she could take a good look at him. 'If only I had the honour.' He joked. The nerves kicked in again, and Sirius self-consciously smoothed his suit. 'Nah, you were always gay as fuck.' Sirius gasped in mock-shock, and mimed slapping her. She dodged his hand, laughing. 'Alright, sweetie, I'll leave these lovely girls to sort out whatever you call this mess,' Mary saw Sirius' face and laughed, 'I'm joking, Sirius, see you after the ceremony, yeah? Good luck!'

Sirius added highlighter to his cheeks, then let Ginny take it off again. Instead he but a small amount of bronzer on. 'Bloody hell, Hermione, I'm getting married, not dressing in drag.' Sirius grumbled as she tried to put some yellow eyeshadow on his lids. Examining his face closer, 'actually, bring me some of that silver stuff.' Sirius mumbled. Hermione grinned and handed Sirius a small palette, containing a brush and small amount of silver eyeshadow. 'Ugh, handsome.' Ginny grinned, putting a hand on his shoulder. Sirius smiled back at her, trying to mask his nerves. They still had a while, Sirius thought, glancing at the clock. 'Come on ladies, champagne before your Mother finds out?' Sirius said, mainly to Ginny. Hermione's parents were definitely not coming to the wedding, Muggles in the castle. No. Ginny nodded eagerly, and as Sirius poured them some glasses Hermione hurried off to collect her and Ginny's bouquets. 'You know,' Ginny started, 'I never thought you two'd get married. You don't seem like the settling down type.' Sirius turned to look at her, one eyebrow raised. 'Originally, I wasn't. But Remus has some kind of effect on me and I just know I never want to leave him.' Hermione came back in, and passed a bunch of flowers to Ginny, who dropped them. 'Ginny!' Hermione half-scolded, half-giggled. Sirius laughed heartily, and handed each of them a glass. 'Cheers.' Sirius said, and the three clinked their glasses together.
