The last chapter of Lost Island! I wrote this chapter solely for Damian. I wanted you to see that he's worthy of Summer. For you, he just came into the picture, but he was there since the start. Summer loves him, and he loves her. Summer and Damian are the endgames. For Leo and Pop's shippers, I'm so sorry. I couldn't do anything about them. I hope you wouldn't hold a grudge against me just because your ship didn't sail. At least they had shared moments turned into memories that they could treasure forever. #CHAPTER35

"Good morning, Ma'am," the girl at the counter greeted me as soon as I entered the shop.

I smiled as I walked towards her. She made it a cue and left me alone, standing there. Inikot ko ang aking paningin sa loob ng jewelry shop habang hinihintay ang pagbalik ng babae. Maaga pa kaya wala pang tao at tahimik ang lugar. Hindi ko naman mapigilang mapangiti nang maalala ang naging tagpo namin dito ni Damian.

"What are we doing here?" I asked as soon as we entered a luxury jewelry shop.

Hindi niya 'ko sinagot at hinigpitan lamang ang hawak sa akin kamay. Napasibangot tuloy ako hanggang sa marating namin ang counter. Maraming alahas ang nagkalat sa paligid. Puro salamin ang nakapalibot sa amin kaya nakatatakot gumalaw.

"How could we help you, Ma'am, Sir?" I heard the girl asked professionally.

I only shrugged her tone. She looks like something our age, but I respect her for not trying to be flirty with my boyfriend. 

"I'd like to buy a couple rings with our name engraved in them," Damian answered. I could hear from his voice the proud smile he always wears whenever he's saying that I am his girlfriend. So, in the end, a smile formed on my lips.

Tinago ko sa braso ni Damian ang mukha ko nang silipin ako ng babae na may ngiti sa labi. Nag-init na rin ang mga pisngi ko. Nakaiirita talaga 'tong si Damian. Hindi man lang siya nag-effort pakiligin ako. Sobrang natural niya, nakaiinis!

Naglabas ng iba't ibang singsing ang babae upang pagpilian namin. Gusto ko sana iyong pink gold ring, kaso naisip kong hindi bagay kay Damian, kaya sa dulo, iyong gold na lang ang pinili namin. Manipis lamang iyon at may maliliit na diyamante na nasa loob mismo noon. Pasok sa aking panlasa at kay Damian kaya iyon ang binili niya.

Gusto ko nga sanang share na lang kami ng bayad dahil sa aming dalawa naman iyon, ngunit hindi siya pumayag. Ang sabi niya'y nagtatrabaho raw siya para sa akin kaya 'wag na 'kong maraming satsat. Ngumuso na lamang ako at nag-isip kung paano ko siya masusuklian.

"Stop pouting. If you'd keep doing that, I wouldn't stop myself," Damian threatened when we got out of the shop.

Hindi ako takot sa kanya, ngunit nakahihiya naman kung maghahalikan kami rito sa public kaya tinikom ko ang bibig ko.

"Much better," he seductively whispered before intertwining our fingers.

I couldn't hide the smile on my face the moment we came back to the shop to pick up our rings. It took them less than a month to do it, and the result was splendid. Walang sabi-sabi'y kaagad kong sinuot iyon sa aking daliri. Hindi na magkamayaw ang aking labi sa kangingiti nang makitang kasyang-kasya iyon.

"It looks good on you," Damian said from behind.

From my fingers, I lifted my sight to him. He's wearing a genuine and proud smile as we stared at each other's eyes. Without saying a thing, I hugged him tight. I saw how his eyes widened, and his lips parted as I put myself on his chest.
