you and itachi finally make it home and the first thing itachi does is pass out on the living room couch. you spent most of the afternoon cleaning the house and preparing dinner for sasuke and itachi.
with your hands busy making rice balls, you hear a knock at the door.
"come in" you yell loud enough for the person outside to hear but trying not to wake itachi.
in comes shisui. he walked in quietly and as soon as the two of you made eye contact he started to blush intensely.
"hey" he said, his voice a little shaken.
"hi" you said back smiling
" need some help?" he asked walking over to you.
"yeah, thank you" for a moment things are really awkward and your both standing there silently making rice balls.
" hey listen about last night, i don't want you to think i just-" but before he could finish you cut him off
" don't worry about it, i know. just a one time thing" you say whispering so itachi doesn't hear even if he is awake.
" oh, yeah. glad we're on the same page" he says with a small smile and looks away.
"you staying for dinner?" you ask him
"oh, not today." he says with no emotion attached
"how come?"
before he could answer itachi yawned loudly announcing that he has awaken. he turned around to see what i was doing and saw shisui.
"shisui!" he said excitedly
"hey man, how you doing?" shisui asked softly while itachi stood up and started walking over.
" i'm good, how about tonight we all go celebrate" itachi suggests
"itachi i'm making dinner right now" you say to him scrunching your eyebrows
"i'm not sure why considering you have a date tonight" he looks at me with a goofy smile and you could feel shisuis face drop.
"what the hell are you talking about?" you ask him loudly and annoyed.
"me and sasuke over heard you taking to kakashi this morning". he said with a wide grin "someone's got a crushhh" itachi starts to sing while he puts his arm over shisui looking at me.
" itachi you have no idea what your talking about" you say to him. shisui being real quite this whole time.
" y/n, you have no reason not to go. so just go. it's not like you have to marry him. it's just an innocent date. right shisui" itachi looked over at shisui for approval. you also looked over at him trying to read what he was thinking.
" i mean yeah, if you want, why not" he says with a fake smile.
"come on, we can eat this tomorrow night. go have fun." itachi says to me lightly punching my shoulder
"yeah okay" you say smiley and walk over to my room to get ready.
so does shisui actually not care? you think to yourself as you get ready.
