"sorry for ruining your date" shisui said as he started to get up.
"no don't worry about it" you say standing up along side him. "what did you say to him?"
" i'm sorry y/n we were drinking and it just kinda slipped out, i didn't think he was going to be so upset" shisui said looking at you and then shared eye contact with kakashi who was standing next to you spectating.
"it's fine really, i'll deal with him later" you say to shisui "do you need help getting home? do you want me to clean up your face?" you ask him grabbing his chin to turn his face so you could see where itachi punched him.
"no last time that didn't end too well" he said giggling at you.
you giggled back until you heard kakashi clear his throat.
"good luck with itachi, i'll see you tomorrow" shisui says as he pulls you in for a hug and plants a small kiss on your forehead before walking away. he's done that before but it felt different this time.
"do you wanna talk about it?" kakashi asks.
"i don't think so tonight." you say looking up at him with a half smile.
"no worries, let me walk you home" he says as you both start to head the direction of your house.
most of the walk there was quiet. kakashi could tell you were really stressed about the situation but didn't want to push things further.
instead once you got to the outside of your home he looked at you and said "goodnight" before lowering his mask and planting a small kiss on your lips.
"goodnight kakashi" you say as you open the door. that was the last smile before the storm.
as soon as the door open itachi walked up to you.
"did you really fuck shisui?!" he said to you before you even walked in the house. unfortunately kakashi was still behind you and heard itachi. you turned around to face him.
"i'll see you later kakashi" before slamming the door and charging towards itachi to punch him on the side of his face shisui didn't hit.
"don't talk to me like that" you scream at itachi as he dodged your hit.
"don't fuck around with my best friend!" he yelled back at you
" why do you even care. everything was fine until you attacked him. we were fine things were normal!"
" why him?! he's like a brother to us!"
" he wasn't that night" you say in his face earning a disgusted glare from itachi
"bet you fucked kakashi too huh? are we sleeping with the whole village now?" he said to you. basically calling you a whore for no reason. his word hurt and the whole energy of the conversation changed.
"your drunk itachi, go to bed" you say calmly as you start walking away. "and not that it's any of your business, but no, i didn't fuck kakashi" rolling your eyes as you walk outside to sit on the porch.
you sat there for maybe five minutes before it started to sprinkle. the weather reflecting how you felt.
kakashi probably thinks i'm a whore and won't want to talk to me. who knows how long shisui and itachi are going to argue about this. will things ever go back to normal?
you were suddenly taken out of your thoughts when itachi opend the door next to you.
"it's going to rain come inside." he demanded but you didn't listen.
"go away i don't want to talk to you right now" you say while you look out at the scenery in front of you.
itachi took a deep breath and sat down next to you. "i'm sorry" he said "i shouldn't have acted the way i did"
you stayed quiet waiting to hear what he had to say.
"it's just at first thinking about you and shisui, i guess i couldn't comprehend it. but..." he paused for a moment. "if you actually love each other then maybe-"
you cut him off before he could finish his thought. "oh please itachi. it was just sex." the word coming out of your mouth made him cringe .
"please never tell me about you sex life again" he said disturbed
"wasn't me who told you" you look up at him
"yeah yeah, you know what i mean" he wrapped his arm around you and pulled you in to plant a kiss on the top of your head.

"so then kakashi?" he asked shyly trying to make things normal with us again.
"you probably ruined any chance with that tonight." you say laying your head into he chest.
"no. if he's a good man, it'll work itself out" he says trying to comfort you.
"we'll see" you say twiddling with your fingers.
"where's sasuke?"itachi asked with sudden concern.
"kakashi tied him and naruto to a tree" you inform your younger brother.
"what!? should we go get them?" concern in his voice
"if they can't escape from that they don't deserve to graduate the academy" you tell itachi.
as you both got up to start to go inside sasuke walked up, his clothing soaked from the rain.
"sasuke -" you reach out for him
"don't talk to me, i'm not in the mood" he says before stomping into the house. you and itachi follow giggling at him.
