*at the hokages office*
"lady 5th" the three of you say and bow your heads
"itachi i have a special mission i need you to complete. head over to the intel unit and i'll meet you in there once i'm done with these two" she said stern.
itachi bowed again and walked out of her office towards the intel headquarters.
"as for you two. i need you to go undercover in a mission to gather information on this new village forming to the south of us. make sure everything looks good, we got reports of suspicious activity from that area. no matter what, do not blow your cover, theyre part of the land of fire so we can't let them think we don't trust them" lady tsunade started to stand and grab a file.
"i want you two to stay there for at least 4 days and then report back and we will see where to go from there" she said this as she walked out the door. "be on your way!" she yelled from the hall.
you and shisui stood there for a moment and shizune handed you the mission file.
"shizune!!" tsunade yelled from down the hall
"coming lady tsunade!" she said frantically leaving out the door.
"sasukes going to be alone again." you say looking up at shisui.
"he'll be fine, trust me" he says smiling "let's go"
you both head towards the village gate as you read him the mission file.
"it seems to be pretty close. should only take half of the day." you say thankful it wasn't going to be a long trip there and back.
"that's good. does it say what our under cover identities are?" he asked
"hmm let me look..... oh here, the two shinobi will act as husband and ...wife in public." you start to read it out load slower and slower. "traveling to the new village on there ..honeymoon."
shisui let out a laugh "does it really say that!?" as he put his hand on the file looking at it
"uhm" you say embarrassed holding up the file infront of him. "yeah"
"well, a mission is a mission"
"righhht"
"we should stop by a shop and grab clothes to match our cover" he says looking around for a shop
"what about that one" you point to a store to your right
"perfect"
you walk in and look around for a little before you spot a sequenced men's jacket
"oh shisuiiiiii" you say tauntingly "i think i found your outfit" you hold up the jacket and he gives you an unapproved look.
"if your putting me in that then i'm putting you in this" he picked up a dress that looked like it was two different tie-diyed shirts put together being held together by a giant bow.
"hmm" you say pretending to ponder the idea of what shisui would look like in the jacket. "i think we're going to have to pass"
"yeah i think so" he says giving a reassuring nod and continues to look through the store.
"okay here" he says "how about this " he held up a basic formal top and casual blazer.
"yeah that'll work, now i just need something" you say putting your finger to your chin.
"here" shisui tossed a flowy dark blue dress.
"great, let's change"
you got up to the register and put your clothes down to pay for them but before you realized it, shisui had payed for both.
"thank you shisui" you say smiling up at him
"don't worry about it"
you both grab your clothes and change out of your mission attire. when you walked out of the dressing room shisui was sitting on a chair waiting for you.
for a moment he was caught off guard. he looked you up and down. "that dress looks nice on you"
"oh, thank you" you say blushing
you both walked out of the store and started walking out of the village and towards the new town.
