once you and shisui finally made it to the hotel, together you walked up to the front desk, shisui set his card on the counter for the man to take.
"hey, can we get a room with-" he was cut off by the man standing behind the desk.
"ohh! are you guys the couple from the sushi restaurant? my niece told me to be expecting you" he said cheerfully
"i suppose we are" shisui said shyly looking over at you. you gave him a quick smile.
"i have a room already set up for you guys! it's one of our nicer ones because of the special occasion" he winked and handed shisui the key card along with his credit card.
"thank you so much!" you both say and walk towards the elevator.
"this place is really nice" you say to shisui as you enter the elevator and he clicks the number 7.
"yeah, i guess because it's newly built they made it more modern then the places back home."
the elevator stopped at your floor and you exited first."what's the room number?"
"uhm" shisui looks at the card. "238" he says pointing to the right hall way.
as you walk down the hall way it's cool and quiet and smells refreshing. shisui inserts the keycard and opens the door for you. you step into a beautiful hotel room. wasn't overly fancy but it was perfect if this actually was your honeymoon.
"oh wow! this is so nice" you say looking around.
you and shisui were both in awe over it. there was a large bathroom to your left with marble counter tops and two sinks. a large glass shower and an even larger bathtub. everything was so clean and new. as you walked in further there was a king bed made up of white sheets, pillows, and a comforter. there was a comfy chair on the right side of the bed and two night stands on each end. there was a small living space with an L shaped couch a small circular dining table and a tv. next to that was a small kitchen with a sink, fridge, and microwave.
"this is nicer then my apartment" shisui says setting his bag on the chair.
you plopped down on the bed and sank in " mmmm, this is so soft" you exclaim
shisui plops down next to you and give the same reaction.
"i was going to ask for two beds but-"
"it's okay, we're undercover remember we only get one bed"
"i can sleep on the couch if you're more comfortable with that" he says sitting up from the bed.
"maybe that's best" you say twiddling your fingers. if shisui and you slept in the same bed who knows if you would be able to resist each other. especially in this atmosphere where no one you know is around.
" i'll go ask someone for extra pillows and blankets i'll be right back" he says getting up from the bed and leaving you in the room by yourself.
"maybe this is a good time to call kakashi" you think to yourself and grab your phone
it rings a few times before he picks up.
"hey"
"hi kakashi , are you busy?"
"no, is everything alright" you hear some background noise but can't make out what it is
"yeah sorry about this morning, we got assigned a new mission so i won't be back for a few days"
"no worries, how is the mission going?"
"it's fine i mean w-"before you could finish your sentence he cuts you off
"hey listen, Guy drank too much, i have to go call me when you can. good luck on your mission." he says apologetic
shisui walks back into the room, his hands full of blankets and pillows
"okay i will" and you hang up the phone
" sasuke?" shisui asked placing the blankets down on the couch
"no, but i should call him right now" you say searching for him in your contacts
"alright , tell him i said hi. i'm going to take a quick shower"
"sounds good"
shisui closes the bathroom door and you hear the shower turn on.
you call and check in on sasuke. he turned out to be with naruto and shikamaru so he didn't want to talk very long but wished you luck on your mission and said he missed you.
you set your phone down on the night stand and felt you body rush with exhaustion and feel you eyes close.
10 minutes later you woke up to the sound of shisui rummaging through his bag. you look up from where you were laying down and shisui's hair was dripping small drops of water with only sweat pants on. his damp chest woke you up instantly.
"sorry i was trying to be quiet but i can't find my damn shirt" he says dumping out his bag.
you started getting flashbacks to the first night you were with him as more then just a friend.
"oh there it is" putting it on over his damp hair. he then sat back on the couch and curled up in his blanket.
all the lights were off except for the lamp by your bed. "should i turn off the light?" you ask softly
"yeah whenever your ready" he says, his voice raspy and tired.
you go to the bathroom really fast to brush your teeth, pee, and change into something comfy. and then lay back in bed under the sheets.
"goodnight " you say softly and turn off the lamp.
"goodnight"
slowly you drift off into your sleep.
