itachi and you shared a tent while shisui and kakashi were in the one next to us.
" sorry i talked to you like that infront of them" itachi said as we laid in our tent silently.
"it's okay. you were right. but it really wasn't what you thought" you said hurt in your voice.
he gave you extra blanket which was his way of offering peace between us and you accepted gladly.
once the sun came up we took some food pills and gathered out gear. we set back out on the trail, this time all together because we got a lead.
suddenly we were ambushed. the akatsuki seemed to be a step ahead of us. we quickly got into our formation, itachi taking the lead.

as a battle broke out between the two groups, kakashi and you realized that these weren't the people in our file case. which made sense since we weren't very close to where they were said to be.
the fight went on long enough until kakashi decided it was time to retreat. we were not supposed to engage in the first place but itachi instead that it would help gather information about more akatsuki members.
by the time we were able to escape itachis eyes were bleeding from there over usage, shisui had a large gash across his entire chest, my left leg was incredibly hard to walk on along with the cut through my check, and kakashi wounded on almost every limb but was still able to keep good spirts.
once returned to the village, we all went to get checked at the hospital. only kakashi and itachi were told to stay an extra day. itachi so his eye could heal properly, and kakashi because everything about him was injured.
shisui and you gave tsunade the mission report and slowly headed back to your house. by the time we were done with our report the sun was starting to settle. slowly the sky turned from a clear blue to a bright orange as the sunset came down.
finally we made it back home and boy did it feel nice to take a warm shower and sit on my living room couch cuddled up with sasuke between me and shisui watching a movie under a cozy blanket.
