"damn it itachi, everytime i swear" u say rolling ur eyes before leaving after kakashi.

" i fucked that one up" itachi said sleepily

shisui huffed at his words almost giggling

"well maybe if she wasn't fucking  around with two guys this never would have happen" itachi said with unapproval and shrugging his shoulders

"hey come on bro " shisui said shaking his head

"shisui how can you be okay with her fucking around with you and kakashi?"

"i don't know man ... it's like , even though it's annoying as hell to see her around him, it's like the times when it is just me and her make up for it so much that i don't even care."

"then why don't you just make it official with her?" he said amused

"she doesn't want that" shisui said shaking his head and looking down

"i wouldn't be too sure " itachi said wide eyed

"what? what do you mean? did she say something?" both excitement and fear in his voice

"bro..." itachi looked at him with a smirk on his face "you need to just talk to her"

"i can't , she's with kakashi right now and i have a mission today" shisui said with a large sigh

"when you come back" itachi reassured

"yeah, i'll see you later , i gotta head out" he said while grabbing a water bottle from the fridge and waving his friend goodbye.

"kakashi wait" you holler while running out your door.

"y/n it's okay" he said without stopping to turn around

"kakashi can you just talk to me?" he said nothing this time. you started walking a little faster to try to catch up to him.

"please can you just wait" you say grabbing ahold of his muscular arm.

he stopped walking and turned to face you.
"i realize that you and shisui have history but the fact that the second we get into a little argument you go running to him just shows that this isn't what you or i want." his voice was calm but hurt.

"kakashi i-" you start but he doesn't let you finish

"y/n it's obviously he loves you, and i think you love him to. so it's okay... "

his words caught you off guard and you felt your heart rate increase at the thought. you stood there in silence trying to process

"y/n i'm leaving on a training mission for 3 years , that's part of why i even came by this morning." he said very stoic

"what?" confusion filled your head on top of the panic as he spoke

" naruto and jiraya are leaving to train and tsunade asked me to do the same, with sasuke"

"sasukes leaving for 3 years !?" your heart sank at the thought of not seeing your brother for such a long period of time.

"yeah.." he paused and looked at you for a second and realized the expression on your face.

your entire body felt like you were loosing control of it as your breathing and heart rate increased

"y/n?" he said concerned "what's wrong?"

you looked at him panicked
"i-i-"

"y/n calm down it's okay" he said grabbing your arm softly

"ka-kashi" you said inbetween breathes as tears filled your eyes

"hey, it's okay, everything's okay" he said bringing you in for a tight hug.

he held you close and you could hear the sound of his heart beating. the comfort of being in his arms calmed your breathing and you felt yourself come back down.

"kakashi i'm so sorry for last night i never wanted to hurt you, i care about you so much" you say closing your eyes and holding him

"i know, and i care about you too, so much" slowly your hug drifted and you were back to facing eachother.

" in 3 years a lot will be different, who knows what could end up." he says smiling at you

"3 years huh? " you say while whipping your damp cheeks . "i guess will find out then"
