torn inbetween (shisui x reader x kakashi )

A proper apology🍋🍋

you were inches away from shisuis door before you started to get little nervous butterflies.

it took all the courage you had to step up and knock on his door

*knock knock knock*

you stood there for a moment unsure of what to do

"y/n!" he says opening the door with a cute smile plastered across his face

before you could say anything he started rambling off

" i know it's cheesy and i feel kinda stupid now because i feel like i over did it so before you-" you cut off his nervous ramble as you walked in and saw flowers everywhere

"shisui?"

"they - uhm" he laughed at himself while scratching at his head "well they didn't have your favorite, so...i just got all of them"

you giggled at the abundance of flowers in his house

"shisui what do you plan on doing with all of these"

"what do you mean?" he says all wide eyed at you "the question is what are you gonna do with all of them"

"you're crazy" you say with a goofy smile up at him

you took a deep breath before setting your purse on the table and walking around to look at all the flowers.

he closed the front door before following behind you. " i think this ones my favorite" he stands behind you while point out a blue flower

you look over to what he's pointing at "that one is very pretty shisui" you giggle as you turn around to face him.

your back was pressed against the countertop and shisui was just about pressed against you.

your stomach swirled again being so close to him after so long.

you were longing to be touched by him

he rubbed his thumb against your cheek in his hand and smiled softly at you before stepping back to put some space between the two of you.

you felt confused as to why he was being weirdly distant

"i uh, was thinking we could make dinner together! i bought some stuff today from the store to make chicken fettuccine alfredo" he said excitedly

"that sounds delicious" you added and started up the stove to boil some pasta.

shisui grabbed two aprons from the closet and placed one around your neck and tying it from the back. once he finished he placed his hands on both your hips and kissed your cheek" all good"

what mixed signals you thought to yourself

he put his own apron on and started mixing ingredients together to make the sauce.

when it was about finished he grabbed a spoon from the drawer and dipped it in "here taste it" he said holding the spoon over his hand and up to your mouth.

"mmmm"

" is it good?"  he asks while taking the spoon and putting the remainder of the sauce in his mouth.

"very" you exclaimed

he held the spoon in his mouth while stiring the sause and turning off the burner

the oven beeped just in time for the pasta and chicken to also be finished.

"here go sit, i'll finish up" shisui said while shooing you away.

you grabbed two glasses and a wine bottle on your way to the table.

shisui brought over two plates of perfectly presented chicken fettuccine.
