torn inbetween (shisui x reader x kakashi )

as you walked in the door , your emotions for the day were exhausted and you felt everything unravel. your eyes started filling with tears as you set your hands on the kitchen counter and dropped your head.

the sounds of you crying caught itachis attentions and he slowly walked into the room.

" y/n?" he said walking closer to you " what's wrong?"

"itachi.." your few tears were now rivers as you fell into his arms.

"everything will be fine" he says holding you tightly , comforting you

" everything, everything is all... happening at once" you say in between weeps

"whats happen ?" itachi asked picking up your face from his shoulder and whipping your tears away

"sasuke..." thinking about it made you break again

"sasukes fine, he'll be home soon" itachi reassured

"no, he's leaving .." itachis expression became confused "for 3 years to train with kakashi"

itachi started to say somthing but you didn't stop

"and kakashi, he's leaving and i can't help but be sad about it because even though i think i love shisui i care about kakashi so much"

itachis face was now in a state of shock as he held you

" and i just don't know what to do anymore, i'm so mixed up and i miss mom and dad so so much , i just wish they were here right now" you cry into his arms and he held you tight.

so much information was thrown at him that he was lost for words

all he could do was hug you and hold you tight in his arms until you calmed down.

itachi always felt safe no matter the situation. even when you guys were kids he was always who you found safety and comfort in.

" y/n, i miss them too, more then anything . but, we can't change the past even though i wish we could. we just have to be grateful for who we still have. like eachother and sasuke. and yes if he is going to be away for a while that is going to be hard but think about all the good it will bring for him. and about kakashi and shisui... they shouldn't make you stressed, they both just want you to be happy, i'm sure of it."

itachis words made everything seem like it wasn't so dramatic as you made it out to be and you felt your soul lift.

"i can't help but think this is mostly my fault" he said with a slight laugh

" what do you mean?"

"well if i had just went back to sleep this morning, none of this would have happen" he laughed and you joined him while still sniffling from your tears.

you heard footsteps at the door and in came sasuke .

"itachi!! guess what" he said bursting through but once he read the room his excitement fell. "y/n what's wrong??" he was so concerned because he could tell you had been crying

"nothing sasuke it's fine now" you smile at him. he looked over at itachi for reassurance and itachi nodded his head.

"so what's did you want to tell me sasuke?"

"well, uhhh" he was hesitant because of your emotions . "kakashi sensei and i are going to be doing some hardcore training ! and he said he's going to teach me all kinds of new jitsu and techniques!" he seemed so excited and it brought relief to you to see him like this.

"that's amazing sasuke!" he fist bumped him

"yeah, except... i'm not going to see you guys for a long time." the excitement now his voice had simmered down.

"sasuke.." you said while gently grabbing ahold of his face " don't worry about us, we'll be here when you get back ." you said smiling .

sasuke went in for a warm hug and itachi joined. together the three of you hugged lovingly and warm

"hey, how about we spend the rest of the day doing all your favorite things sasuke ?" itachi suggested.

sasuke got super excited and ran into his room to change.

"everything will be fine" you said smiling at itachi

he smiled back and brought you in for another hug. " yes it will" he says before kissing you on top of your head.

the rest of the day was spent spending quality time with sasuke before he had to leave. doing all the things he loved to do most until morning came and you had to say your goodbyes.

the three of you met kakashi at the gates of the village. after itachi said his goodbye and pocked sasuke on his forehead you gave him the biggest hug you could possibly give him.

"shisui is off on a mission right now but he wanted me to tell you that your gonna do great and he can't wait for you to show him all the new things you learned once you get back." itachi told him

sasuke smiled and waved goodbye before walking towards the gate

"kakashi" you called out " take care of sasuke"

"he'll be safe with me, i promise" kakashi said smiling through his mask

"i'll see you in three years" you winked

kakashi let out a small giggle " see ya then" he said while waving goodbye and you and itachi watched as they both walked out of the village and started a new chapter to their lives .
