“I swear it, on my heart you know I wear it on my sleeve,

For everyone to see that I am yours and you belong to me

Cause, nothing compares to what we share.

I don't have a care in the world.

Cause even if it all came crashing down,

As long as you're around,

I'll be safe and sound.” ~ Tonight Alive, Safe and Sound

Lie - (lying, lied)

(Verb) to say something that is not true (see liar) (Noun) a statement that is untrue or false.

I used to be a liar. I got so used to denying who I was inside on a regular basis that it became routine. I told lies, yes but it was more than that - I became the lies, my whole life was a complete and total lie. It was only since I chose to come here, to Candor (and I realise now that it was a choice, even though I thought I never had one, although it may have been a subconscious one) that I have realised it was okay to just be me.

Truth - (true, truthful)

(Noun) the quality or state of being true (Noun) that which is true or in accordance with fact or reality (Noun) a fact or belief that is accepted as true

Now I’ve found Callie, I’ve realised that the truth doesn’t have to be from inside you - it can come from other people. And I found truth in Callie Rae Pierson, It just took me time, trials and truth serum to fully realise and understand that. And the loss of one of the world’s greatest friends; I am so sorry you had to die, Julian - you didn’t deserve it. In just over half a year, my baby will be born - it’s a boy. Callie and I are going to name him after you, Julian, and in a way, our trio will be complete once again.

Candor/ Candour

(Noun) the quality of being open and honest frankness

I’d like to thank Candor, my faction, for all it’s shown and taught me. Which is a lot. There may not be factions after this rebellion. I may not want there to be - I don’t know. If I stay, I won’t fight bedside Jeanine’s followers, won't fight beside my parents unless I have reason to, although not unless Callie agrees. Because wherever I am now, so long as I’m with her, I can look into her beautiful, almond-shaped eyes and see the world around me clearly through her love.

And you can applaud and thank me for my honesty all you want now, because that’s my truth.
