Hey guys so I read this whole book over today and I realised that:
a) there are a million and one spelling mistakes/grammar mistakes and I HAVE EDITED. Whoop!
b) it's actually got kinda depressing lately and I'm sorry for that but I'm just keeping in real. Not everything (sadly) is unicorn parties, and sometimes life sucks, but hold out for the happy ending, because I promise there WILL BE ONE. Eventually.
c) can I just point out to everyone that in one of the chapters, right at the end, Amber says she doesn't trust Will because he stole her first kiss, and that was the only thing she ever really wanted Tris to have.
THIS IS NOT ONE OF THE MANY SPELLING MISTAKES. (And yes I admit. There are many.)
So recently (I lie - it was a while ago) my friend admitted that she was quite confused, so I thought you guys might be too. The name Tris WAS supposed to be there, it isn't a misspelling of Tobias and when she says first kiss it means that AMBER wanted TRIS to be the first one to kiss AMBER. Make sense? Sorry if that was confusing. Seriously, I love you guys but it's quite fun to play with your minds : D
d) I realise that some of you readery guys (fingers crossed not the people amongst thou that I actually am friends with in real life because then imma give you a twenty hour lecture - and I'm sure Marina will help - about life and stuff) that I didn't tell you that Amber was gay at the start of the book or tag it or put it in the title or anything or blah blah blah blah blah - and if your offended by the way it turned out in the book, then all I have to say is GROW THE FUCK UP. I mean, it's the fucking twenty first century. The world is dying from ebola. I'm pretty sure you all have better things to worry your little minds about than who's in love or sexually attracted to whom. Plus, it really isn't any of your business, is it?
(I said whom. Whaddup - look at that grammar.)
So I'm sorry for writing a story where the main character is LGBT and not TELLING you guys originally, but it was always gonna be this way. I made a plan - this isn't even one of the random plot twists I made up last week.
Most of you will be fine with this. But sorry, this was in case of an exception to that lovely rule.
e) Just to clarify, Amber never said she was jealous of Callie because Callie was so close to Julian. It is always phrased as she hates the two of them TOGETHER, or she is jealous of them and their closeness as a COUPLE. Mwahahaha. Oh the fun. Oh the mind tricks.
f) Sorry for the rape scene. I know it was awkward. And probably innacurate. But I wrote it on my MUMS COMPUTER guys, seriously I had to keep checking behind me just in case one of my parents decided to come take a look at my "homework". You can't get any more awkward than that - you guys only had to read it.
