"You go on ahead Mike, we will see you up there." I pulled my jacket tighter around me.

"Are you sure? You look pretty cold." I look to Mike, trying to hide the shiver that ran through me.

"You can go with him, I'm fine waiting for Sam."

"I said I'll stay. Besides, I can just take one of Chris's many layers." I look to the boy at my side, "Seriously I don't think you could have anymore clothes on even if you tried."

Chris posed, "You like it? I call it 'its ass cold'. You think this fashion trend will catch on?"

"Definitely not." Mike laughed, turning towards the cable car that was pulling up.

Chris moved to unlock the door and let Mike through, instead turning to lean against it. "You guys really wanna be messing with the guy who has the keys to this place?"

He jingled the keys in Mike's face. Quickly, Mike grabbed them. "Hey!"

"See you up there guys." Mike twisted the doorknob and tossed the keys back to us. Chris flinched as my hand reached out to grab them.

"See ya Mike!"

We slumped onto the benches that ran across the building.

He rubbed his stomach grumbling, "Why didn't I eat before we came here?"

I picked my bag off the floor and grabbed two things out. "You are lucky I am so amazing."

"I actually love you right now."

"You didn't before?" I pulled the chips away from him.

"What? Yes I did!"

"Are you just using me for food right now?"

"Maybe a little." He snatched the small bags from my hand and looked at the two kinds. With a slight glance, I knew what he was asking.

"Yes, you can have both." I laughed as he lay his head on my shoulder and tore open the bag.

I starred off at the view, playing with Chris's hair while he lay on my lap and fighting back sleep. "Are you still tired?" His voice pulled me back to reality.

"Yeah kinda. Only got like two hours last night, I was so nervous to come back."

"Yeah I hear you, it is weird being back. At least we are together right? You know, got someone with everyone." My eyes lay fixated on a sign with some graffiti. The past is beyond our control.

I shuddered, "Yeah well Mike is alone right now, and Hannah and Beth weren't alone when-when they-"

"Hey we don't know that. Besides, Mike will probably find someone to walk with up there." The added weight of Chris's arms around me was somewhat comforting. "We can't do anything about what happened."

"Maybe I could have gone after them, or better yet I could have found Hannah and told her what the others were planning."

"Stop it! You did nothing wrong." We sat like that for a moment before he tensed up and pulled away. "If you had gone after them, you would be missing too." He frowned for a moment, "We both know I couldn't live with that... Come on, let's go look around. I've never really explored outside the station."

"What's there to see? Snow, snow, and more snow? Maybe even another creepy sign like that one." I point the graffiti and watch as Chris' face fills with confusion.

"I was thinking something more like-"

"A creepy poster?" I barely noticed Chris and I had made our way around the corner.
