I pulled the jacket we found/Chris's sweater that hung around my frame tighter as we trudged through the snow. The boots I wore were too big, but that was the least of my worries. Josh was pushed to his knees in the deepening snow. "Guys! Guys come on... seriously, this is crazy, you know?" He asked as Mike pulls him back up to his feet.

"Shut up!" Mike ordered.

"Yeah man, just stop talking already."

Josh looked at me with wide eyes. "Y/n... Chris, bro."

"I'm not your bro..." Chris mumbled.

"It was a harmless prank man!"

"Look at my face Josh! Does this look like a prank to you?" I yelled, motioning to the gash that was nearly impossible to see from the dirt and blood covering my skin.

"Why'd you have to hit her man? Why'd you have to fucking hit her?" Chris's knuckles slammed into Josh's jaw.

Josh whimpered in pain, "what are you talking about man?"

"You attacked Y/n and hit Ashley, you piece of shit! What do you think I'm talking about?" Chris shook his hand slightly at his side.

"I just got so mad." Josh says.

"You don't hit a girl. You just don't." Chris says, balling his fist again.

"Dude.... Dude, Chris.... Bro I-" Josh stuttered, not having the words that he wanted to say.

"I'm not your bro!" He snaps, running his hands through his hair. "Just stop!"

"Where- where are you taking me? Where are we going?"

"We are locking you up," Mike says, happy for a change in subject.

"What?" Josh's eyes widened, he tried to push back against Mike's grip but was unsuccessful. He stumbled and struggled to keep his balance. "Y/n, you can't let them do this."

If you are just friends with Josh:

"I don't know what to tell you man," the chilling breeze that swept through the trees caused the snow to flurry around us. The moonlight glistened off of them.

"Come on, we are friends right?"

"Stop trying to guilt her!" Mike scolded.

"Josh..."

Chris watched me carefully, taking my anxious movements as a hint to make Josh stop. "Shut up Josh. Leave her out of this. You've done enough already."

"Y/n, come on you care about me. I know you do, you told me how much you do in the shed remember?" My face burns red as I remember what happened, my confession. "See! See Chris, she does, she had the balls to tell me how she felt and you can't even talk to Ashley without freezing!"

"What is he talking about?" Chris asks, looking down at me with furrowed eyebrows.

"Josh I confessed my feelings to my then dead best friend. It didn't take bravery to speak to someone you thought was gone." I bite down on the inside of my cheek, avoiding the eyes of the three men, although a smile was plastered onto Josh's face.

"Don't let them leave me out here N/n," he demands, voice low and confident, "come on sweetheart."

"How romantic, he's trying to manipulate her," Mike says, "now I understand why you are single." He shoves Josh, forcing him to keep walking.
