Em's POV:
I woke up to the feeling of the bus moving along. As I came round and stretched silently, I noticed light coming through the curtain, indicating that it was still daylight in Colombia. It was then that I heard hushed voices. They were quiet but as I listened harder I recognised that it was Louis and Zayn. I inched closer to the edge of the bed, trying to make out what they were saying.
"She's a bit snappy isn't she," I heard Louis say.
"Tell me about it, it's like we can't breathe around her without it setting her off," Zayn replied. I frowned, realising they were talking about me.
"Harry said she was just tired and stuff but she was like this before, I think it's just her personality." I silently seethed. How dare they bitch about me!
"Well she needs to lighten up a bit otherwise this leg of the tour is gonna be a nightmare," I heard Zayn say with a light chuckle.
"And the way she's snapped at Niall!" Louis exclaimed. "You know what he's like, always trying to be friendly and she's just thrown it back in his face like a right bitch!" My stomach twisted, knowing that as much as it hurt to hear, what Louis said was true. I had been a bitch to Niall when he was just being friendly. It still made me mad that the two of them were gossiping about me though. They barely even know me, they have no right to judge me like this. I flung back the curtain and jumped down from my top bunk, landing neatly on two feet. I saw the boys were sat in the window seat and I sent them an ice cold glare, making it clear that I'd heard every word. With that I turned on my heel and walked out to the living room. Harry and Liam were playing on the PlayStation and Niall was stirring mugs of coffee over by the kitchen.
"Hey Em," Harry called without looking up.
"Hey," I said quietly, not trusting that the hurt I was feeling wouldn't show in my voice if I spoke any louder. Harry frowned and paused the game, looking at me.
"What's wrong?" He asked. He knows me too well. I shook my head.
"Nothing important," I said before walking over to the kitchen. I grabbed myself a mug and spooned coffee into it. "Has this just boiled?" I asked Niall, pointing to the kettle. His head snapped up, surprise evident on his face.
"Uh yeah, yeah only like a minute ago so should still be good," he stumbled over his words. I nodded and poured my drink, stirring it. I could feel Niall glancing over at me but I ignored his gaze and carried my mug over to Harry.
"Where in the world is this bus taking us?" I asked, confused about all the travelling. Harry chuckled as I sipped my coffee.
"We're heading to the hotel now. We're taking our time because we have all day so we've made a few stops for food and just to get fresh air already but I think we're only an hour or so away now," he smiled. "Our first concert is tomorrow night so we'll be doing a sound check tomorrow morning, but after we're done we can all go and see the city before the show?" I nodded my head in agreement. I was desperate to see some amazing places.
"Did you sleep okay Em?" Liam asked with a smile. I noticed Niall set the other boys' drinks down before he disappeared into the bathroom.
"It was okay I guess," I shrugged with a nod.
"See you don't need fancy five star living to have a good nights sleep," Harry teased. I giggled and slapped his arm. As I took another sip of my drink, Louis and Zayn walked in from the bedroom area. My mood instantly darkened and I glared over at them. They both avoided my gaze which only served to irritate me more. Deciding I couldn't bare to look at them right now, I stood up.
"I'm gonna go to the back and read Harry," I muttered before making a beeline for the bedroom.
"Em can I-" I heard Louis start to say as I walked past him but I whirled round.
