Em's POV:
"Come on!" I shouted with a laugh as I pulled Niall down another street. His laughter sounded behind me as he ran to keep up with me. "We don't have long before Harry starts sending me passive aggressive texts!"
"Where are we even going?" Niall said in between breaths. I grinned over my shoulder at him.
"You'll see!" After the sound check Harry told me that we had to leave the hotel by 6:30pm to get to the stadium. They were filming some bits before the show so they had to be there early. It was now 5:45pm and I was taking Niall for dinner, but I was on a time limit. I followed the route that I had mapped out in my head after finding the place on google earlier, and eventually came to a stop. Niall halted next to me and grinned up at the building in front of us.
"You found a Nando's?!" He asked, excitement in his eyes. I grinned up at him.
"Well Harry told me you love it and as we haven't been to one on the tour yet I figured you might be having withdrawal symptoms," I giggled. Niall scooped me up in a hug and spun me around.
"You're so amazing," he breathed into my hair. I giggled as he set me back on my feet and kissed me.
"But we have to be quick, we don't have long!" I said, pulling him towards the door. Niall didn't need to be asked twice and we both ran inside and breathlessly asked for a table. We fell down into our chairs, exhausted after all the running and scanned through the menu. We quickly chose what we wanted and Niall went to stand up to go and order. I swatted his arm with the menu.
"What do you think you're doing?" I asked him with a smirk.
"Going to order?" Niall frowned confused. I shook my head.
"Nope, my treat," I said, grabbing my card and standing up. Niall grabbed my arm to stop me and I turned back to face him.
"I can't let you pay for me," he said stubbornly. I rolled my eyes.
"Yes you can, you ran the show for our last date now it's my turn," I told him. "Stop tampering with my efforts," I said with a smirk. Niall chuckled and, after hesitating, released his grip on my arm so I could walk off. I smirked to myself and joined the queue to order. I pulled faces at Niall while I slowly moved forward, making him laugh from our table. The woman next to him started giving him funny looks so I stopped with a giggle. I ordered at the counter and swiped my card to pay. The server gave me two glasses and I thanked him before walking over to the drinks machine. Niall had wanted a Tango so I filled his glass with the orange liquid before pouring myself a Sprite. I grabbed cutlery and napkins and returned to the table, trying desperately not to drop anything or spill the drinks. I heard Niall laugh as I got closer and I looked up to see him jumping up to help me. He took the cutlery off of me before they slipped out of my hand and I grinned at him in thanks. I set the drinks down and sat down myself before quietly swearing under my breath.
"What?" Niall asked.
"Forgot sauces!" I groaned, moving to get back up.
"Stop stop," Niall laughed. "I'll get them." I let him go off while I sipped my drink. He returned with ketchup and hot sauce. "You have to try the garlic bread with the hot sauce," Niall stated as he sat down. I pulled a face.
"That is wrong on so many levels," I told him. He laughed and shook his head.
"I know it sounds grim but trust me, it'll be the best thing you've ever eaten," he insisted. I gave him a wary look.
"Isn't the hot sauce like super spicy?" I chuckled nervously. I knew I wasn't any good with spicy foods. I can just about hack a medium at Nando's. I wasn't going to tell Niall this but in my head I was frantically trying to find an excuse to get out of it.
