Em's POV:

The boys' show in Rio had gone off without a hitch, as usual they charmed the crowd and left thousands of girls screaming. I even saw a sign near the front saying 'Marry Me Harry' which did make me laugh. The following morning we set off early to get to São Paulo. It was only a 5 hour drive but the boys were really keen to get there. I got the impression that São Paulo was one of the places they were most excited to go to. Their concert wasn't until the following evening and Harry told me there's a carnival all weekend, including tonight so we're going to go to that. He said we can hit the shops when we get there and get some funky outfits.

I've been at the back of the bus getting some reading done for the last couple of hours. About 20 minutes ago Niall came through and sent me a smile, asking if I was okay. When I said I was he came and joined me on the window seat, sitting on the other end of it and putting his feet up so they were tangled up with mine. He pulled his phone out to amuse himself while I carried on reading. Now, I could feel him looking at me every now and again. I remembered what he'd said about seeing my lips move as I read and I became horribly self-conscious under his gaze. I casually lifted my book higher so that it covered my face while I smiled so he couldn't see me.

"Aww don't hide your pretty face," I heard Niall complain. I giggled and peered at him over the top of my book. As I did, he snapped a picture of me on his phone.

"Hey!" I laughed, nudging his leg with mine. He grinned.

"You look cute, see," he showed me. My eyes and above were showing over the book and there was a cheeky glint in them. I chuckled and shook my head.

"Is this what it's like to be famous and have the reporters snapping pictures all the time?" I winked. Niall laughed.

"Exactly like this. Though reporters don't tend to be able to get shots once we're away from them and safely indoors. Luckily for you I'm annoying and follow you all the time so," he shrugged. I laughed and looked back down at my book.

"You're not annoying," I said quietly with a smile, half to myself.

"What was that?" Niall asked, the grin on his face telling me that he had heard every word. I rolled my eyes and giggled.

"I said yeah you're super annoying, I wish you'd give me some space," I said, my words laced with sarcasm. Niall winked and got up, pocketing his phone.

"Fine okay, if that's how you feel," he shrugged, putting his hands up as if in defence. He started to turn to the doorway but I shut my book with an eye roll and a smile. I stood up on the seat and jumped onto his back, causing him to laugh as he grabbed my thighs to keep me up.

"I wouldn't care if I had to be pressed against you forever more," I mumbled before realising what I had just said. Niall instantly cracked up laughing and I hit his shoulder, my cheeks flushing. "Not like that! I meant like with the whole space thing!" I tried to explain. "Ugh my point is that I don't want space from you, I like being around you," I said, Niall's contagious laughter catching on and making me laugh. Niall set me down on my feet and turned around to face me.

"Is that so?" He smirked, gently tugging on my belt loops to pull me closer to him. I complied and stepped forward so that our bodies were pressed together. I nodded as my breath caught in my throat, knowing that if I spoke he'd know exactly what kind of effect he has on me. "I rather like being around you too," he grinned before touching his lips to mine. "And I wouldn't be entirely opposed to being pressed against you forever either," he added when he pulled away, winking at me. I laughed and slapped his chest playfully, burying my head in his neck to hide my red cheeks. He chuckled and wrapped his arms around me, squeezing me in a hug.
