Em's POV:

When I woke up the light coming through the curtains was faint, telling me that it was still early and the sun hadn't risen yet. I rolled over to find a sleeping Harry beside me, Benjy now asleep at the foot of the bed. I giggled quietly as I took in Harry's crazy bed hair that was spread all over the pillow. I rubbed my eyes and looked at the clock on the wall to see if it was an acceptable time to get up. 6:10am. Not bad, not as early as last year's 5am wake up call I had from Harry. I yawned and rolled over onto my stomach. I smiled to myself and reached a hand up, flicking the end of Harry's nose.

"Merry Christmas loser," I said loud enough to wake him. Harry scrunched his nose up as he came round. He stretched his arms above his head and groaned loudly whilst he woke up. I waited patiently with a grin on my face, knowing that once he wakes up fully his excitement will match mine. Proving my point, Harry's eyes slowly opened and a grin similar to mine grew on his face.

"Merry Christmas twinny," Harry mumbled, tapping the end of my nose with his finger. I giggled and sat myself up before pulling Harry up as well. He yawned and stretched while I peeled myself from the warm bed and into the cool air. Harry followed suit, still with an excited grin on his face.

"I'll go and wake Mum and Sam then meet you back in here," he told me before disappearing out the door. I smiled and caught sight of myself in the mirror. I pulled a face at my bed hair, the curls sitting wildly on my head. I grabbed a hair tie and pulled it into a messy bun for now.

"You know when you two became teenagers you were supposed to start letting me have a lie in on Christmas morning," I heard my mum's voice complaining down the hall. I giggled to myself and smirked when I heard Sam's tired groan.

"But it's Christmas!" I heard Harry protest. You tell them Harry.

"We'll be down in 10 minutes," Mum said. A minute later Harry was back in my room with bags of presents in his hands.

"Ready?" He smiled at me.

"Yeah one second," I mumbled. I picked up my phone and quickly composed a text to Niall. I knew he probably wouldn't be awake for a few hours but still.

Me: Happy Christmas babe! Thanks again for my amazing night away, you truly are the best thing that's ever happened to me. Love you so much xx

I grabbed all of my gifts from under my desk before nodding at my brother. Still in our pyjamas we made our way downstairs, Benjy following along at my heels. Mum always set our presents out under the tree the night before so every morning me and Harry could come down to a room that looked different from how we left it last night. She always says it's her way of 'keeping the magic alive'. Harry flicked the tree lights on and we stood grinning at the scene before us for a moment.

"I bloody love Christmas," I giggled as my excitement grew. Harry nodded eagerly in agreement before we got to work laying our gifts under the tree. By the time we were done I could hear Mum and Sam coming down the stairs. We turned to the doorway as they appeared and Mum sent us a sleepy smile.

"Happy Christmas darlings," she said, coming over and pulling us into a group hug. She pressed a kiss to both our cheeks.

"Happy Christmas Mum," I said with a smile.

"Presents now?" Harry grinned, his eyes sparkling.

"Crikey hold up, I've only just woken up! How about a coffee and some breakfast first?" Sam chuckled. I narrowed my eyes at him. We always have breakfast after our presents. He's not about to change that. I saw Harry frown but Mum looked at us both with pleading eyes.

"It is rather early guys, maybe we should wake up a bit?" She said softly. I opened my mouth to tell Sam he can fuck off back to bed if he wants, we don't want him here anyway. But Harry saw and sent me a glare to shut me up.
