Em's POV:
The boys performed a second show in Toronto the following night, and the day after we were all back on the bus for the 8 hour drive down to New York City. The boys were performing for two nights at the MetLife stadium, but all I could think about was the day after their performances, when Harry said we'll have time to go sight-seeing before having to head off to Massachusetts in the evening. I'm already getting the impression that the American leg of the tour is much more jam-packed.
I climbed up onto my bunk and flopped face down onto the bed, letting one arm and a leg hang off the edge. We had been dragged from our beds early this morning so that we could get on the road and after the late night that comes with performance days I was certainly not feeling the early start. Harry chuckled from opposite me as he lay down on his bunk. The other boys came through and joined us, Liam, Niall and Louis sitting on the window seat while Zayn climbed into his bunk.
"Well this is cosy," Harry smirked. I giggled and peered down at the boys. Niall's hickey was still very much prominent on his neck but he had given up hiding it from the boys after the other day. I promised him I would be more careful next time, but he just smirked and said he'd get me back.
"So Em, have you planned our whistle-stop tour round New York yet?" Zayn asked from his bed below Harry.
"I have a few ideas," I smirked. Harry rolled his eyes.
"Don't encourage her boys, she'll have us marching around while she holds an umbrella up so we don't get lost," he grinned. I launched my pillow across to him with a laugh.
"I am not that bad!" I protested.
"What ideas have you got already then babe?" I heard Niall ask. I leant over the edge of the bed to look down at him.
"Well nothing planned as such, just places I think we should definitely go and see," I shrugged. "Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Empire State Building. And I definitely want to sit in Central Park," I grinned, my excitement growing at the thought of seeing the city. "Oh and of course we need to hit the shops on at least one of the days while we're there," I said.
"You're about to be a uni student Em," Harry responded. "You don't have the money for those shops!"
"No but you do," I challenged, blowing him a kiss. I knew he knew I was joking but he still shook his head with a smirk as he threw my pillow back at me.
"I'm gonna put the kettle on, anyone want a drink?" Liam said as he stood up.
"Coffee please!" I cheered down.
"Tea!"
"Make that two!"
"I'll have a coffee!" Orders flew at Liam and he nodded slowly trying to keep up. Niall got up in the end laughing and went off with Liam to help.
"What are we gonna do for 8 hours then," I groaned, falling onto my back on the bed and looking up at the tour bus ceiling.
"We could set the Wii up," Louis suggested. "There's Mario Kart in the drawer, and I think we've got Wii sports too," he grinned. I rolled over and looked down at him.
"And it's taken you over a month to tell me this why?!" I exclaimed with a big smile. Louis laughed.
"Sorted then!" He cheered, standing up to go out to the living room. "Harry come and help me set it up." Harry stood up and smirked at me, our years old rivalry on Mario Kart appearing.
"I'm gonna beat you," he sung. I scoffed.
"In your dreams, you can't even stay on Rainbow Road," I retorted. Zayn got up with a chuckle and followed Louis out through the curtain. I jumped down and landed next to Harry. "And I'm better at Wii bowling than you," I shrugged.
