CHAPTER 5

PRACTICE

Maria Dana's POV

"Wake up Dana! It's already 6:30. We need to get ready." Sophia said. Dito siya natulog mula noong saturday night. Mamayang hapon siya uuwi sa kanila.

"Ok... I'm awake. You take a bath first." I said.

"I'm already finish, sis. You're the one should take a bath." She said and go downstairs.

After I take a bath, habang pababa na, I heard them laughing at the dining.

"Ano tinatawa niyo?" I asked.

"Nothing sweetie. May ikinuwento kasi si Sophia." Mom said at natatawa pa.

I sat beside Sophia. When we finished, umalis na kami papuntang school.

I sat at my desk when we arrived at our classroom.

After few minutes. Dumating na si  Ms. Gonzales.

"Good morning everyone." Ms. Gonzales said.

"Good Morning Ma'am." Class said.

"Ok. Mr. Montejo and Ms. Dela Vega. I want to remind you that starting today up until next 2 weeks, you have a practice for the fashion show at 10:00-11:30 am. You two are excuse that time. Because next month will be the school fest." Ms. Gonzales said.

"Okay ma'am." Tanging sagot ko. Walang imik si Devere.

It's 10:00 am already. It's our time to practice. It'll be held at the gym.

"Devere. It's already 10. We need to go." I said.

Di siya sumagot bagkus tumayo nalang siya at umalis. Tsk. Kala mo kung sino. Kala naman niya gusto ko ito. Umalis na rin ako at sinundan siya.

Pagdating sa gym ay nandoon na silang lahat, ang mga kasali. In-arrange kami base sa number na nakuha namin. Kami ni Devere ay #5.

Ang unang ginawa namin ay mula sa backstage then pupunta sa kani-kanilang partner and magfo-form kami. After nun ay tinuruan kami ng sayaw para sa aming opening.

"Ok. Some of you don't get easily the steps. We have some time again tommorow. Dismissed." Ms. Aguinaldo said.

Natapos na ang aming practice ay kaagad na akong pumunta ng restroom. Di ko pinapansin si Devere. For what?! Tsk. Besides di naman niya ako pinapansin.

Pagdating sa room ay nagdi-discuss yung teacher namin.

"Good morning ma'am." I greeted. Tumigil muna siya sa pagsasalita.

"Ms. Dela Vega. Go now to your seat." She said.

Naglakad na ako ng tinawag niya ako.

"Oh. Ms. Dela Vega. Where is Mr. Montejo. Diba kasama kayo sa practice niyo?" Tanong nito.

"I don't know ma'am. I'm sorry." I apology.

"It's fine,  Ms. Dela Vega. You can go to your seat." She said.

"Sis? How is it?" Sophia ask, as I sat down on my desk.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Yung practice niyo." She said.

"It's fine. Nothing happened." I said.

"What does it mean, nothing happened? So you expect that something might happened?" She said.

"Alam mo Sophia. Pagod ako sa practice. At please lang, wag mo ngang lagyan ng meaning ang sinabi ko. Makinig ka na lang kay ma'am." I said.

Habang nagdi-discuss si ma'am. Di ko rin maiwasang magtaka. Bakit nga ba wala pa dito si Devere hanggang ngayon? Ugh! Wala naman akong pakialam bahala siya sa buhay niya. Tsk.
