Her desire pooled in her centre, making her breathing short and shallow; her heart beat faster and she clawed at the sheets, arching her back off the mattress.

"Oh my – mm – Jack!" she cried, feeling his fingers expertly enter and stroke her sex, his tongue caressing her hardening nipple, before continuing his sinful torture to her other nipple.

He hummed seductively, dragging a scorching trail of kisses down her body until his mouth was level with his fingers and knowing how badly she wanted him in that moment, he hovered, hesitating between her legs, just long enough that she begged for him.

"Please ... Jack! ... please I want ... you!"

With a grin, he spread her legs wider and ran his tongue over her folds, smirking against her just hearing her sweet moans. She reached down to run her fingers through his hair but he instead grabbed both of her hands, interlocking his fingers with hers and delving his tongue swiftly deeper.

"Oh – ohh! Jack! I – oh – I'm coming!" Kylie moaned, completely hopeless –

That was when Jack woke up, his heart raging in his bare chest, sitting up in the empty bed. He looked around the dark bedroom and saw a soft light coming from down the hallway to the half closed bedroom door. Jack could also hear quiet voices wafting through to him too.

Damn ... Jack though, trying to clam himself down and remembering with the force of being hit with a brick wall, that he and Kylie had babysat Loz and Ryan's two boys last night ... then he remembered why.

Ryan had been in a terrible car accident and the last they knew, it was touch and go if he would make it through the night. As Jack checked the time, dragging his fingers through his hair did he remember that he wasn't working today. He was staying home to look after Harry and Aiden, while Kylie went to work.

Groaning loudly and still rubbing his face and scratching the back of his head, Jack got out of bed and dressed, all the while thinking, this is gonna be a long day ...

Stumbling into the kitchen, Jack found Kylie buttering herself some toast. She had her back to him and wearing a pair of tight fitting black trousers tucked into her beige ankle boots with a heavy dark red woollen jumper. She had tied her hair into a slick bun and as Jack walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around Kylie's waist to kiss her neck, noticed she was wearing the necklace he bought her a month ago.

Harry and Aiden were sitting on the lounge watching ABC Kids. Harry with a bowl of Rice Bubbles and Aiden with a plate of Vegemite on toast. Kylie couldn't help but giggle quietly at Aiden. He was so focused on the TV that his blind aim for his mouth missed every single time.

Feeling Jack nuzzling against her, she continued to smile and tilted her head to the side, letting Jack continue to kiss along her pulse line.

"What are you doing up so early?" she asked softly, throwing a cautious glance at the boys, completely zoned out to everything but the TV.

"I'm just an early riser, I thought you knew that?" Jack quipped quietly in her ear. He let go of her waist to begin making his own breakfast.

"I heard from Ali this morning," Kylie whispered, turning around to face Jack. That was what had woken her up, Ali ringing at ten to six with the news they had all been hoping for: that Ryan survived the night.

"Yeah? How's ... how is he?"

"Made it through the night. She said Loz didn't sleep at all, even after Ry came too. They tried to convince her to go to sleep, but – damn, she's stubborn as hell sometimes. Al said they were gonna see if a nurse can give her a sedative or something –"
