I Love You Since Then /Chapter Seven/
Muntik pa akong mahulog mula sa kama nang marinig ang tunog ng phone ko. Umayos ako ng upo at agad na kinuha 'yon para sagutin.
Si Mommy.
"Mommy, Napatawag po kayo?"
[Nothing darling, just checkin' on you two.]
Kinabahan agad ako dahil sa sinabi niya. Hindi kami magkasama ni Kaiden as supposed to be planned.
"We're okay Mommy, masaya dito!"
Pinasigla ko ang boses ko para hindi siya makahalata.
[Good to know then, are you with Kaiden now? Can I speak with him?]
Napalunok ako ng mariin, what excuse should I say?!
"U -uhm h -he's sleeping po, yes tulog po siya. He said po kase kanina that he's tired so I let him t -take a nap."

Pagkatapos ay nagpaalam na siya at binaba ang linya. I closed my eyes and inhaled an amount of air.
If that's the case, mukhang hindi ako makakapag-relax.
Inayos ko ang hinigaan ko at lumabas na ng silid. I almost got lost the way papunta sa sala. Dumeretso ako patungo doon at naupo sa couch.
"Shane, you're awake! Hungry?" Bungad ni Pat sa akin.
"No, busog pa naman ako." I declined
"Uhm may gusto ka bang gawin?"
"C'mon don't think too much about me. Siguro bukas na lang, it's getting dark na." Saad ko na tinanguan naman niya.
Ang bilis ng araw, di ko namalayan dahil masyado akong nag e-enjoy sa bakasyon ko dito. Kahit paano nasusulit ko ang isang linggo. May apat na araw pa ako bago umuwi sa Manila.
The other day, we sail around the island, nag-snorkeling din kami. Then today, we'll go scuba diving!

"Shane let's go!" Tawag ni Pat kaya nagmadali akong magtungo sa gawi niya. Kasama niya ang guide namin para sa activities ngayong araw.
I'm wearing a wetsuit that the resort owns. Mang Ronnie, our guide, helps me put on the fins, we're almost ready!
What we did was fun and relaxing as well. Halos mapunit ang labi ko sa lapad ng pagkakangiti ko. Hindi ko nga naramdaman ang pagod dahil mas lamang ang saya ko.
Palubog na ang araw ng naisipan kong maglakad-lakad sa dalampasigan, just for some fresh air. Pat is busy with some sort and I don't want to bother her too much. Pero nagsabi ako incase hanapin nila ako.
I'm wearing beige colored bikini underneath my boho dress cover up. It's still cold tho, dahil medyo manipis ang tela. Pinili kong magsuot na lang ng simpleng slippers instead of those sandals na dala ko.
Crap!
Nakalimutan ko yung phone ko! Baka biglang tumawag si Mommy. She hasn't called me the last two days.
I turn to go back para kunin ang phone when suddenly I bumped into someone. Muntik pa akong matumba, fortunately the person held my hand before it happen.
I looked up and saw a guy, he's leaning a but because he is taller than me. He has an oval-shaped blue eyes that really caught my attention. He's just looking at me steadily that makes me feel awkward.
"H -hey uhm, sorry." Why am I faltering? Tumayo ako ng ayos at binawi ang mga kamay kong hawak nito.
The way he looks, I think magkalapit lang edad namin.
Hindi pa din ito nagsasalita, is he deaf or what? Magpapaalam na sana ako ng bigla itong magsalita.
Okay he's not deaf naman pala.
"Can I ask a question?"
"You're asking it already." Tugon ko
"Yeah, another one." He chuckled.
"What is it?"
"I kinda lost my way, my friends told me sa resto ako magpunta tho I don't know where to go. Nakalimutan ko yung directions na sinabi nila." Napakamot pa siya sa batok niya. "I'm Tyrone Villanelle by the way," he held out his hand to shake.
I don't wanna be rude so I took his hand. "I'm Shane Avery Torr—" I was cut off by a voice mula sa likuran ko.
