"Every inch and every part of you
Drowns me
I let you go only to be swallowed again."
"She just left." Alec said as he walked into their secret meeting room.
"Good." Dimitri who has been filled in after feeling her presence in the castle said, "Has she said anything about their plans?"
"Let me answer that instead of him. No. She may have lost her memory but Mel is not dumb she will not reveal any information to the 'enemy', she's only entertaining Alec because he's her mate." Vladimir responded, Alec nodding in agreement.
"In all honesty I'm really uncomfortable tricking her like that," said Dan nervously, "If she finds out we've been trying to get information from her we're dead meat!"
Emmet nodded vigorously, "Angry Mel is terrifying."
"She would feel so betrayed if she found out." A concerned Esme said.
"It doesn't matter, when she gains her memory back she will realize why we did what we did."
"You mean if she gets her memory back." Dan muttered, only to be smacked by Rosalie.
"Be positive."
"Oh come on!" He shouted exasperatedly, "This all starting to feel hopeless, Mel is gone, we have no idea what the other side is planning or when they might strike and its only a matter of time before Aro starts suspecting us, and when he does he will find out everything with a single touch. What will we do then?"
"If it all goes well he might congratulate us." Carlisle said with his lips pursed.
"Might is the key word." Stefan muttered to his companion who nodded in response.
"Yeah... let's not think about that right now." Dimitri cringed.
"When is she coming back anyways?" Bella spoke up.
"She didn't say," Alec answered, "She did leave in quite a rush though." He finished earning thoughtful hum in response.
"Something must have came up then." Alec's only response was a shrug.
"I guess we'll have to wait until she comes around again, Alec you have to keep working on earning her trust, Melione is powerful, having her on our side would only do us good." Carlisle said, finishing the meeting.

Melione watched with mere interest as Eve a newborn that was able to impress her and Rufus and stay on the army, decapitated another poor newborn that made a small mistake.
"Can I ask you something?" Mel spoke up.
"If you must."
"What does it feel like, you know... being a total bitch." She smiled with fake sweetness.
"Haha," she shot back, "Master said to get rid of the incompetent ones."
"They're newborns." She rolled her eyes, "They have no idea what they're doing."
"We have orders," She shrugged, "Orders your lazy self doesn't seem to be following."
"You're handling the newbies just fine on your own." She smirked.
They were snapped out of their little banter when a man strolled over and wrapped his arm around Eve's waist, pecking her lips. Melione cleared her throat causing the couple to remember her presence.
"Mel! You haven't met my mate yet, you've been disappearing for a while so I wasn't able to introduce you two, meet Thomas. Tom this is-"
"Melione Villin." The man answered nervously, "I've seen you around, you're quite popular around here."
She raised an eyebrow, "Am I now?"
"By popular he means everyone's terrified of you." Eve rolled her eyes, causing her mate to stiffen at the way she was addressing her.
"I wonder why." Mel hummed.
"I know right, you don't give off sadistic vibes at all." Eve retorted sarcastically, before noticing someone calling her over, "I'll be right back."
"So Tommy," Mel said once alone making the newborn jump slightly, "You care about Eve?"
"Y-Yes, I do." He stuttered out.
"You better not hurt her. I've grown quite fond of her sarcastic arse."
"I would never hurt Eve." He frowned.
"Good, because if you do you'll have to see me angry. And do you know what happens when I get angry?"
"Erm... you get cute?" He forced a nervous grin.
"True," She shrugged, "But you hurt her and I'll get real adorable."
"Mel!" Eve shouted, "Rufus said we're needed for a meeting."
The ancient vampire winked at the newborn saying, "Good talk." And getting up to join Eve who apparently overheard their conversation.
"Did you have to terrify him like that, now I know where you get that reputation from." She rolled her eyes at her.
"Yes, yes, it was extremely necessary."
