[Wang Soobin P.O.V.]

I once again came to realise the cruel reality that I and only I am responsible for myself. If I die, no one's gonna die with me. I was born alone and I'd die the same way. And now, no one's gonna take out the bullet in my arm either.

I closed my eyes and took a long breath. The knife in my hand was no longer trembling. My muscles became tough, and so became my nerves.

Rusheng looked at me with the sound of the bullet dropping down.

"Soo-jie! Are you okay?" She asked with a flustered voice.

My whole body was breaking out in pain. More blood were coming out, I was feeling as if I would lose my senses. I grabbed the handle of the door tight.

"Rusheng, please stop the car..." I asked with a pale face.

She pulled the break. I came out with trembling steps and started rushing far from the car. When I was in safe distance from the car, I let all my pains go out in the form of screaming. I screamed and screamed out untill all my nerves were tired, my voice was broken. I stopped and dropped on my knees, flow of tears rolled down.

I could sense Rusheng standing behind me. She kept her hand on my shoulder. She was panicked and her face looked bloodless. I wiped my eyes in the fold of my other hand.

"I didn't realise it would be that painful," I said with a tired voice, "But it feels better now."

"Why are you like this?" Rusheng complained, "Are you a sadist? Is it really so enjoying to hurt yourself?"

She sat beside me on the ground and started to tie my wound with a piece of cloth.

"Thanks," I smiled unhappily, "But I am better alone."

"Inside the garage, why didn't you fight?" She asked out of the blue, "There were only 5-6 people, they wouldn't stand a chance against you. Knocking them off would've been a kid stuff to you. Why did you resist then?"

"It sounds pretty funny when a police asks citizens to fight," I chuckled, "Didn't your brother teach you police-manners properly?

"Don't change the topic, jie. JUST TELL ME WHAT I'M ASKING!" She shouted out of impulse, "You should've fought, then why didn't you? What if the bullet was shot into your head instead of your arm?"

"Luo Rusheng! I'm a useless person, nothing would've changed if I had died," I replied, "Your brother has realised it already. The sooner you realise it, the more it'll better for you."

I got up holding the bandaged wound tightly and started walking.

"Please, don't be so lonely and crazy forever," Rusheng said from behind me, "Can't you understand that it hurts to see you like this?"

I didn't reply, actually I didn't know how to.

"Your lifestyle is more like that of warriors of tragic stories who fight, strive and die at the end," She said, "No one knows their struggles after their death. Can't you change your lifestyle a bit?"

"Well... Man is mortal and forever will be. There's nothing I can do about it," I said without looking back.

"Then find someone who'd die with you," She said walking next to me.

"I don't have anyone like that," I replied, "And dying with me would be a meaningless death. Who would be ready to die in vein anyway?

Suddenly my phone rang, it was Yu Bin's number.

"Where the hell are you, Wang-Soo?" He yelled while panting, "Are you guys okay? Or you got into some accident?"

"Well..." I hasitated.
