Haoxuan was sitting at on corner of the roof, swinging his legs in the air. Soobin was sitting beside him with a cup of coke in her grip.
"So she rejected you?" She took a sip from the cup with a serious look.
"In the face," A deep sigh left Haoxuan's chest as he nodded.
"No big deal," Soobin said indifferently.

"Soobin-jie!" Haoxuan yelled with a puppy face, "I'm having a problem here! I got rejected for the first time in my life. Why are you acting so indifferently as if you don't care?"
"Why are you reacting like everything's over?"
"Why won't I?" He said impulsively, "She literally hates me, and there's nothing I can do about it. Because I can't go back to the past and change every wrong thing I've done with her."
"Who said you can't?" Soobin patted on his shoulder.
Haoxuan looked at her with sparkling eyes filled with curiosity.
"She's only rejected you once, so this is nothing. Because you can try again and again untill you win her trust," She said, "Life is a long journey, brother, not a destination. So you better not give up or lose heart, you understand?"
Haoxuan nodded with a serious look.
"You mustn't worry too much about it. I know her the best and I know that I you are trustworthy," Soobin gave a firm and assuring smile, "I don't know about anyone else, but I'll always be by your side."
"Thanks, Jie," He smiled back.
They sat looking at the sky view and remained quite for some moments.
"Did you feel bad when she yelled at you?" Soobin asked.
Haoxuan hasitated, "Well... I deserved that... She's become like this because of my bad behaviour... I can't blame her for speaking her mind..."
Soobin grinned, "So you DID feel bad."
He thought of denying, but then weakly nodded, "A little bit."
"If the person you like yells at you, you should enjoy it properly," She chuckled.
"I don't understand..."
"Who knows if it becomes a sweet memory which you two can laugh about later?" Soobin said, "Do you understand now?"
The coke cup in her hand got empty and she threw it down from the roof. A sudden yelling coming from down surprised the two of them.
"WANG-SOO!! THE GARDEN ISN'T A DUSTBIN! STOP THROWING WASTES DOWN HERE, WILL YOU?"
Haoxuan laughed and looked at Soobin, "Yeah, I understand now!"
