This day made me loose my enthusiasm. Reason? As I wake up earlier, I was really happy to be honest. But, as I walk out of my door. Everyone was glum and... Looked depressed at some point.
That was also the time when I found out what the real reason for their sadness was. And after knowing the truth, I rushed towards the training room to look for the dean. And she was there with the others, talking about something.

"Ms. Dessa, how may we help you?" Dean Jean asked, but I just gave her an angry glare and also did the same to everyone, making them all surprised.

"Is something the matter dear?-"

"Why didn't you told me about what happened back then?" I asked, cutting what Professor Rylie is saying. and I could see their questioning expressions. "I thought that that duskian just lied about what he said." My tears are about to fall, and this is really making me hard to talk. "But why is everyone talking about it, saying that it was true! Huh?! Answer me!" I couldn't keep it anymore. It made me so mad that they kept something so important to me.

"C-Calm down dear, we just-"

"You just what?!" I cut Professor Eurie this time, my voice raised a bit. "You all know how important it is for me to be updated about them. So why would you hide something so important?!" I kneeled down breaking with my tears as I don't know what else to do. So much negativities in my mind right now.
They immediately entered my mind. I am very worried about them.
The school doesn't allow us to send our letters outside and inside the school. So how would I know about them?

I felt all of them walked towards me simultaneously and Dean Jean held me by the shoulders, making me look at her with tears still falling down from my eyes. Everyone went silent for a minute before the dean talked.

"I am so sorry for not telling you sooner. The truth is, the news also came late to us. It was delivered to us this morning, and even if we wanted to talk to you, you were still resting... So we all agreed to talk to you once you're already done with your errands." She explained with a sad tone.

"Did you found out who among them had survived? Where did the war took place? Is the empire now being ruled by Dusk?" I asked, but they all waived their head no, making me gulp nervously.

"All we know, is that the king and queen both died at the invasion. It happened three months ago, and the palace was the main target of Dusk. Most of the palace guards have died, and some of the people also suffered the same faith as them."

"But Granger is one of them! Also... The oracle. What if they were both at the palace that time? Did they also-" No! I don't want to think that way. It's kinda hard for me to believe!

"But aside from that, nothing more have been damaged. So, don't worry about that dear... Also, the princess is now the queen of the empire, and we also found out that the Royal Elites are now at five instead of four!" Professor Eurie excitedly said, making me look at her with surprise.

"So no need for you to worry, because everything is now back to normal there dear!" Professor Rylie said in a happy manner.

"T-That's not the reason why I am worried." I said, making them all silent. "It's about a family that I left behind. Are they still alive? They promised to see me again. They said that they'd be waiting for me everyday at the palace." I explained and they all had that not-so-sure reactions in their faces, making me more worried. Then a thought went inside my mind. "Please!" I exclaimed, making them surprised. "I know that the risk is too much, because I cannot fully control my power, yet... But I am begging you, please let me visit the palace to see if they are all fine." I kneeled and held my hands up to show my persistence. Hoping that they would agree.

"You're not supposed to go out. You're not even graduated yet." Professor Greg said with a firm voice, making me loose hope.

"But I can manage to protect myself now! Apart from that, I have the formidable crystal with me. I should be safe!" I insisted, but he gave me a straight no.

"You may be safe from other threats now, but with Dusk? Impossible." He said, making me really loose my hope.
My shoulder dropped as I stand back up my feet to walk away with a sad expression.

"We're really sorry dear. But this is the only thing to keep you away from danger for now. We're just following orders." Professor Eurie said and I didn't looked back to say goodbye and just went out, back towards my dorm.

As I entered the dorm. I was greeted by curious gazes, so I looked at them with sad eyes and said...

"Please don't try to ask. I don't want to talk about it." I firmly said and walked towards my room with a grim face.

I just sat down at my bed while thinking about them. What could have really happened? Are they still alive? I hope they're doing fine.
It made me cry again and all I did at this time was to waste my tears about something that I had no answers, yet.

"Daisy? It's time to eat now." I heard Guinevere say, but food didn't entered my mind until the moment.

"I... I'm still full HAHA! I'll just eat when I feel like it." I tried to sound as happy as I can, but my voice is cracking a bit, making me cuss under my breath.

"O-Ok... But please come out before lunch time." She said sounding worried. I can tell by her voice that she is also sad, but... I just don't want to entertain such thing. I don't want them to worry just because of me.

I laid in my bed and as much as I would like to forget about earlier, it just kept on entering my mind. So I looked around to find some things to do to make me forget about it. And the thing? I found none...

"I hate this kind of life." I thought and cried again, making me feel tired and I was somewhat happy that I felt like this, cause I can sleep easily, and before closing my eyes, I prayed, hoping for their safety.
