Chapter 20: Orb of Luminescence

Third Person

Meanwhile~
At a pavilion... Guinevere and her friends trying their best to get the Orb of Luminescence, they are somewhat worried about Daisy.

"Let's finish this up quickly, for us to go there, if ever she needs help." She said and everyone agreed.

"But what do we do now? Nothing is said about how to get that thing." Rose asked, and everyone went silent.

Traceler on the other hand. Went closer to the orb and examined it. Everyone was all eyes with what he is doing. He moved side ways and looked at everyone of them until...

"Guinevere, come closer and stand right here." He said and Guinevere did so. She stood in front of the orb and looked at it.

She looked intently at the orb like she was looking at her own soul and in just a second, the orb glowed powerful purple, making them all cover their eyes.
When the glowing stopped, they all looked back at the crystal and when they did. They were surprised to see all the things they got earlier, in front of the orb. Glowing so powerful with each color and in the middle, was the orb. It all connected and with no warning given, it made a huge explosion like magic, and everyone was caught off guard and lost their balance.

But the thing that surprised them the most, was Guinevere controlling the orb with her bare hands. She swayed like a dancer performing in front of the others while the orb follows around. Even the things they got earlier did. The sword, the flute and the whip, danced together with Guinevere until she stopped with her right hand raised by her side and the orb floating from it. The things earlier also went back to their owners. The sword to Traceler, the flute to Mye and the whip to Rose.

"Wow! That was awesome Guin!" Rose exclaimed and Guinevere hid the orb with her magic.

"I know! I also didn't expected that to happen! That was so cool! Thanks for letting me do it, Tracey~" She said and Traceler just looked away.

"Not the time to thank all of us. We still have to see Daisy." He said and everyone almost forgot about it.

"Oh gosh! We need to hurry!" Guinevere said and they all ran outside the pavilion to go back to the path where Daisy walked. "It might take us time, so we have to run as fast as we could." She said worriedly and everyone didn't disagree at this.

They ran and ran, but at the part where the Flute of Whispers was found, they got tired and even if they don't want to, they rested for a bit. Drank every last ounce of water they had and tried to calm themselves down before taking their leave.

(After an Hour or so)

Granger, who was assigned to help Team Alpha. Sun was about to set and he is still walking around the forest, when he heared someone taking.

"You can do it! This time, you will! Don't loose hope!" It was a voice of a woman and it sounded like she is cheering for someone. So he walked towards the place where he heard the voice.

"We've been trying for how many times already!" He heard a voice of a man this time, and he could here anguish with his voice. So he hid himself and tried to see what was going on.

To his surprise he saw a man full of burning bruises and a woman who is holding unto his hands to support him. He tried to think of an answer as to what is happening but he just looked at them to know the answer.

"Hmm~ How about if you try to wear this?" The woman said and she wore off the necklace she was wearing and put it in the man's neck.
There, in a blink of an eye. All the bruises started to fade and the man was now as strong a healthy one. "Yes! It worked! It worked!" The woman clapped her hands as she saw the burn fading away.

"Wow! I didn't know that the crystals can also heal." He said and smiled. "Thanks for this, but I can't accept this one. This is for you, so, might as well use it for your own purposes."

"I can manage to protect myself from harm. So use that for your own sake." She said and the man just looked at her and smiled. Then he said.

"If you want this to be mine, then so be it, but first... Let me do something." He said and he raised his hand high up with the crystal. His hands glowed with the crystal and it was so beautiful to see a mixture of colors in one gem.
After the glowing he showed the necklace to the girl and she was surprised to see two of the necklace now.

"Wow! Is this real? There are two of it now! So cool! No awesome!" She looked like a child who just witnessed a magic show at her first time with hands clapping happily. So the man giggled.

"Here! The original is yours and this'll be mine." The man said and they both wore the necklace. "Thank you for this again. Now I can walk freely under the sun without being scared again." He said and smiled, and Granger was surprised when the girl suddenly embraced the man.

It took a while, and right when the sun was nowhere to be seen, when the girl stopped what she is doing.

"Let's go inside of the cave now. For you to take a rest." She said and Granger can't help but feel uneasy about all this. "Are you okay?" He heard the girl said, and the man just stand there firmly while looking down. "Should I hold you again the-"

"Die!" Both of them were surprised when the man suddenly started attacking the girl. He throw a quick but powerful punch right at the girl's gut, and it's a good thing she managed to dodge the attack. Because the punching caused a powerful gush towards a tree, making it have a hole in the middle part.

"What the heck is going on with you?! Calm down! It's just me!" The girl tried to call out, but was of no use. The man kept on attacking her and she was forced to attack him too.
