Chapter 38: The Reunion

"Yes he does... In fact, he knows where all of them are burried. Their family, the oracle. He knows everything from the start." I was surprised to hear him talk. And his footsteps was heard towards me. "Ever since you left, he didn't, even for once, forgot everything that you two have had. He misses you everyday, thinks of you everyday. And worries about you everytime." I looked behind me, and I could see his eyes about to tear up. He was looking at me with both happiness and sorrow.

"G-Granger~" Now I know who I was looking into. His eyes, same as my childhood friend. That eyes that only looks to me like this. That eyes that tells me everything without lies. My only family.

"Why did you hid yourself? I thought you didn't made it. I was about to lose hope." He said and I held his face. This weird feeling I had in me, was not a coincidence. But a sign that I knew him.

"I'm sorry. It was to protect everyone. Including you. I'm really sorry for worrying you." A happy tear then shed to my eyes. I embraced him tightly. "I missed you so much!" He also cried with me, while embracing me.

"You idiot! You made me worried so much to the point that I almost can't sleep! You're really an idiot!" He said and I just smiled happily while crying with him.

"I'm happy to see you too! You don't have to say those things to me!" I said and we let go of each other.

"Look at you. You're now more powerful than what I had expected." He said and poked my forehead. I pouted.

"Oh come on! We're not kids anymore, stop doing that to me everytime!" I remarked.

"You changed so much though. You got more beautiful than the last time I saw you." He said, making me blush.

"Oooh?/Aweee~/So sweet!" Everyone remarked. I covered my face in embarrassment.

"This boy is dead meat!" I thought and glared at him. He then raised his hand in defeat.

"What a beautiful sight to see! A reunion after a war. Is this what you call 'A calm after a storm'?" We all laughed at the queen's remark.

"I'm so happy that you found her at last Granger!" Sky said and looked at me with smiling eyes. "Who would've thought that we were with her all this time and still didn't noticed it? Unbelievable!" She said. "Nice to meet you~ Mrs. Sonata." She teased and that made me blush again.

"I like the sound of that! Daisy Aurum Sonata. Perfection!" Guinevere said.

"Hey! Stop that!/ Sky!" We both said and they all laughed.

"But it's so cute~" Guinevere then said and Sky agreed.

"Guinevere, dear?" Professor Eurie called and she shut her mouth.

"Sky." Zandre called and she motioned zipping her mouth.

"See? Told... You... So~" Marc held Granger by the shoulder and mentioned every word.

"Tch! Okay! Alright! You win! Happy now?" Granger said and just looked away.

"What do you mean?" I asked and looked at both of them.

"Well, when I first saw you at the academy, I already had a hunch and told him about it. But he only told me you're not it because even if the similarity is there, 'your aura is not the same as his friend', he said." He explained and I just chuckled at the explanation.

"Why are you laughing?" Granger asked.

"It's because that's what she is also thinking towards you." Guinevere said. "She thought that maybe it was just a big coincidence that you have the same name as her friend. And she also said that if you really are her friend, you would definitely know her, but you didn't." The two went silent.

"You know what, you both are twins maybe." By what Marc said, it made us both confused."You think the same, you almost act the same... And you even are this close?! Come on! I don't believe that you're just friends~" He said and raised a brow.

"But it is true! We just became friends at Northern Dawn until then." I explained.
We talked about some other random stuffs, when...

"Students? It's time to go back." Dean Jean called, making us have a disappointed look. Especially me! I don't want to go yet.

"Aw~ can't you stay for a little longer ma'am? I really want to talk to them all." Sky said and Jade second the motion.

"As much as we like you to talk to each other more, we can't. We're worried about the school." Dean Jean explained, so they both just nodded sadly.

"Don't worry! We'll come back when we have the time." I cheered them up, but it didn't helped. They just nodded in defeat.

"Oh? What kind of goodbye is that even? We didn't lost the war remember?" Rose helped me with the mood.

"Yeah! Smile!" I also said and they all tried their best. "Pfft! HAHAHA!" We both laughed with their faces as they look at us with curious eyes.

"Nevermind." Rose said and laughed with me more.

"Oh my gosh! They got crazy!" Sky said and held her head in shock.

"Okay fine! We'll stop now." I said and we both tried our best not to laugh again.

Granger then walked closer to me and held my hand. It made me blush, because everyone is looking at us right now.

"Promise me that you'll come back. To see me again." He said, and he is serious with what he said. "I still need to marry you after all."

"Ooooooh!!!!" Everyone was quick to react at what he said, while I... Just standing straight, dumbfounded by what he said.

"He made his move! I repeat! He made his move!" Marc said in an ever victorious voice.

"Our Granger has grown up to be a man~" Sky said and patted him in the shoulder.

"We should have a toast for him later then!" Zandre said while chuckling.

"I'm so happy!" Jade said and sneezed on a tissue~

"Answer him Daisy!" Guinevere said excitedly, so I just looked at her unable to answer. "Oh! For goodness sake!" She said and rolled her eyes away.

"Okay okay! Fine! I will, okay? Take care of yourself too, for me." I said and looked at him while blushing.

"Such a beautiful sight to see~" The queen said and we all then got ready to leave the empire, back to the academy.
