Chapter 35: Perfect Combination(?)

Third Person

While Daisy was busy dealing with Damian, Granger and the others helped the people who got involved in the war. And once everything were fine, only then, they remembered that one of them is missing.

"Have you seen Daisy around?" Rose asked Sky.

"No, in fact I also didn't noticed her leaving." Sky answered.

"She excused herself earlier. She said she'll be going somewhere. But didn't told us where." The queen said, making Rose bow and thank her.
"Look! There are some palace guards in there! We should help them." She said and Granger was the one to go.

"Where did you came from?" He asked.

"We were saved by one of you guys. It was a girl, from Genesis Academy. We came from Oracle Ban's place." The guard answered, and even though it was a short message, he felt goosebumps.

"Why isn't she with you?" Granger asked, and everyone, even the kids just looked down. "Go towards that person over there, and tell them that i'll just look into something." He said, but before taking his leave...

"We already burried Oracle Ban earlier." He was pinned down from where he is standing. Then he looked at the guard. "Someone tried to save her, but... She didn't made it, for she also saved the kids."

"She?" He thought. "And who is this she that you're talking about?" He asked.

"The girl from the academy. We tried to stop her from fighting because she was bruised... But she used her magic to escape from us and fought every enemy until none was left. After that, we took her to the cemetery to bury the oracle." He explained. "I think she knows her more than anyone here." Again, explained the guard.

"But I won't be surprised about that. Oracle Ban is well known here! Of couse she'll know something about her." Another guard said.

"Yeah~ but isn't she from the academy though? And it's been years since they left the academy." The point raised by the guard made Granger think that something is really suspicious of the girl, making him talk to them again and giving some instructions before leaving.

He walked and sometimes ran towards the place where he usually goes. Well at first he went to visit the house where Oracle Ban lives. But after seeing that no one was really there, he just sighed sadly and went out of the house to go to the main place. The cemetery.

As he was approaching the place, he can see that there are two people fighting right at the place where he knew his families and Daisy's families were burried.
And when he saw a familiar cast, he immediately ran towards the place to help.

"Death Note!" He chanted and a bullet was shot. It was about to hit the enemy, when... He escaped and let go of his grasp on Daisy. He then went to her side and said. "How dare you cause ruckus at our empire?! And worse, causing too much noises at this peaceful place!" He said sounding pissed.

"And who are you?" Damian Asked while looking at him with knitted eyebrows.

"I am from the royal elites! And I command you to get out of here before I loose my temper."

"HAHAHA! Don't make me laugh!" Damian said and looked at Granger seriously. "I take orders from no one, wanna no why? Because I am the one who gives orders!" He said and grinned evilly. "And I order you to give my queen now!" He said in an evil manner.

"And who is this queen you're talking about?" Granger asked calmly.

"Of course the one you're with! Who else would it be?!" Damian said pissed and Granger looked at Daisy with wide eyes.
Daisy noticed this and felt like Granger is suspicious of her, so she said.

"Don't get fooled! I am definitely not his queen. Not with the one who I have a grudge with!" Daisy looked at Damian with a glare, while the other just smiled at her. "Stop daydreaming you piece of shit! I don't even know who you are!" She angrily shouted and casted a spell, to which Damian just deflected.

"Don't be too hardheaded now my dear~"

"Dear my ass! No! I won't go with you!" She said in a disgusted manner, making Damian look at her seriously.

"If you don't listen to me, i'll kill him." He said pointing towards Granger.

"Okay you made me really mad. Blackmailing me like that... Granger, shall we do that cast, again? For the last time now?" Daisy said and looked at granger with knitted eyebrows.

"Fine, as long as nothing will be damaged." He answered and both of them looked at Damian.

"Oh? I can see that it's a no then?" He said and elevated his hands, making it glow and have a thorny, circular object floating from above it.
"I shall take that shit's life with no mercy!" He said in an angry tone, but both didn't flinched at this.
Instead, they both pointed their gears and chanted.

"Last Bullet/Blood Ode." After that, a powerful light beamed across the place, making Damian flew meters away from them.
He coughed blood and felt a sting right at his left abdomen. There he saw that he got shot. "Any last words?" Granger asked and Damian glared at him.

"You may have won the fight today! But I will have the last laugh, remember that!" After saying those words, he tried to hit Granger with the circular thorns, but Granger escaped and when he looked back... The enemy was gone.

Granger just puts his gun back his holster and he walked back to the tomb, only to find out that Daisy is out of sight.

"Did she left already?" He asked and looked at the tombs. "You left me all now? How mean." He said and went to each tomb to clean some dirts on them.

He stayed for a little longer, talked like he has someone to talk to... He even tried to sing, but... His voice just doesn't go along with him well, so he just stopped and looked away.

"You know what? I met a new girl today... And she seemed to be really suspicious. She came from Genesis Academy, and when we first met, I felt kinda new." He held his left chest as he felt something weird after talking about Daisy. "And the biggest coincidence... Is that she has the same name as hers. Though she's more childish than her, I mean the new one... And also, i'm sorry to tell you that I didn't got the chance to meet her there. Maybe she was training really hard to be a very strong woman huh?" He said and smiled. "Please help me meet her again." He said and even though he was alone. He could feel the breeze as if it was hugging him.

He kept on talking like that, until hs ran out of words and went silent again. This time, was interupted by Marc.

"Thought i'd see you here!" Marc said with a smile. "Though I always do." He giggled.

"What is it this time? I thought they retreated?" Granger asked with a mixture of bored and pissed tone.

"Oh they did! But the queen wants to see us all. She wants to say something, and as usual, you're the only one absent." Marc said and locked Granger in his biceps and messing his hair.
