Strange Feelings - A DamiJon story

Chapter 14

October 26th Wayne Manor 17:30
Bruce had called a family meeting even with member of the family who had moved out of the Manor such as Dick and Jason. The siblings were all waiting around, Tim and Steph were taking selfies, Cass and Damian were sparring in the middle of the room while Jason and Dick sat talking and Helena read her book

"What do you think this is about" Steph asked

"Haven't the foggiest but I want to go home" Jason moaned

"He's either assigning an important mission or he's going to tell us we have to spend more time together" Damian said hitting Cass

"Nice hit and stance, but you left yourself open" Cass said tripling him up

Damian face planted as Bruce and Selina walked in and watched him fall on the ground, which caused Jason to start laughing

"Todd why don't you take me on, you won't last a second" Damian said standing up

"Hey stop it" Selina said

"Now down to business we have decided we are all going on a Halloween family road trip" Bruce said

"Oh great" Damian sighed

"And we thought it would be more fun with more people so the Kent's are coming as well" Selina said

Damian's heart stopped, they still hadn't told his family yet and now it seemed like they were being forced into telling them. Damian did want to tell them but he was something he wasn't usually, he was scared and terrified of how they would react and it was showing on his face without him realising

"Hey Demon Spawn are you alright" Jason asked

"I'm fine" Damian said shrugging it off

"Damian, your face says other wise what's going on" Bruce asked

"Nothing" Damian replied

"Damian" Dick said

"Grayson don't" Damian said storming off

"Dick what's going on" Tim asked

Dick looked at Helena who was shaking her head with her finger in her lip

"Nothing" Dick replied

"Hey Helena knows what's up too" Cass said

"Neither of them will tell but I know who might" Steph said

"Who" Selina asked

"His face went all weird when you said Kents, so let's ask Jon" Steph said

Steph took her phone out of her pocket and went to dial Jon's number but the phone was knocked out of her hand and got stuck to the wall with a Batarang

"I'm going to kill him" Steph said

"The Kent's are coming anyway they are spending the night because we leave tomorrow so pack your stuff" Selina said

All of the Batkids left Bruce and Selina standing in the room alone

"Bruce, you look worried" Selina said

"I am, Damian only acts out like this when he's scared but what could he be scared of is know if his mother was in town so I don't know" Bruce said

"I don't think it's a physical thing, the way his face changed showed an emotional inner turmoil, it's something that neither of you are capable of expressing fully" Selina said

"I know, but I though Damian had gotten better, he's been happier these last few weeks, the last time he was like this was when Jon kissed him" Bruce said
