Gotham Airport June 9th 08:45
The group of teens were boarding the Wayne Private Jet for their trip away fro Jon's birthday. Helena, Jon, Lara and Cassie sat talking the whole journey while Damian participated in minimal conversation opting to read his book for most of the journey to the tropical island resort which his father owned. When they arrived Jon and Cassie were the first ones off the jet
"This place is beautiful I don't want to leave" Cassie said
"It is, but I'd miss home" Helena said
"You'd miss Gotham" Lara asked with shock
"Who wouldn't it's the only city that shows it's true self" Damian replied
"Let's get to the house so we can get changed and start some activities" Jon exclaimed like a child
"I'll race ya" Lara said
"I will too" Cassie said
"No cheating this time" Jon said to his sister
"Fine" Lara sighed
"Ready, set....Go" Cassie shouted as they took off
"We are friends with children" Damian sighed
"Your dating one of them, plus they are fun to be around they create a sense of normality" Helena said
I suppose you're right but still they could grow up a bit" Damian said
After arriving at the house Damian opened the door to let everyone in, it was like a mini Manor for them but it had more windows and let in way more light. Jon grabbed Damian by the hand and they ran up to their room with their bags
"Dami, this is the best birthday present ever" Jon said
"Well I haven't actually given you a present yet" Damian said
"Is this not it" Jon asked
"You'll get it later, now get changed I thought you wanted to go to the beach" Damian said
They got into their swim suits and Damian put a black tank top on while Jon put on a regular T-shirt before they left with the girls for their own private beach
"This is the best summer ever" Cassie said embracing the sun
"Yeah it is" Lara replied
They messed around for a bit before returning to the land where they sat and talked for a while
"You guys are the best you know that" Cassie said
"Where's this coming from" Helena asked
"I thought it just needed to be said" Cassie replied
"Your not half bad yourself Sandsmark" Damian said
"Thanks for the compliment I guess" Cassie said
"That's the best you'll get out of him" Jon laughed
"Let's head back to the house so we aren't eating too late tonight" Damian said
"Good idea" Helena said
Damian went to put his shirt back on but stopped himself when he noticed Jon staring at him so instead he just grabbed Jon's hand and began walking
"I know you like the view but you need to stop staring" Damian whispered in his ear
"Sorry" Jon said going red
"Your so cute when you blush" Damian said kissing him
"Hey lovebirds stop sucking each other's faces off and come on" Cassie said
