Damian and Jon were woken by their alarm clock which caused them both to shoot up out of bed. They looked at each other before realising what day it was
"I'll go wake the kids, you go make breakfast and the lunches" Jon said frantically
"Beloved calm down, it's just the first day of school. We did it a million times ourselves and they've been in school for two years so just calm down" Damian said kissing his forehead
"Your right I need to take a deep breath" Jon said
"Plus I believe our children may already be up" Damian said
"Why's that" Jon asked
"I heard you at the door, enter" Damian said
The door opened revealing the twins standing there in their pyjamas
"Are you two excited and ready" Jon asked
"Yeah" they replied
"Then get over here and give us both a hug before you get dressed" Jon said
The twins ran up and jumped on the bed giving their dads a hug
"Now get changed" Jon said
"Okay daddy" Ellie replied dragging her brother
"Beloved you know what I just realised today it's just you, me and a child who sleeps most of the day so what do you want to do" Damian asked
"Relax, have a bath and just read a book" Jon replied
"A shared bath or a singular" Damian smirked
"Depends do you want to join me" Jon smirked
"No I've been planning on giving Titus a bath and I was wondering if you would share with him" Damian said
"Your funny" Jon said sarcastically
"I hadn't realised" Damian said kissing him
"Go make the lunches" Jon said
"Your wish is my command" Damian said
Damian got up and dressed before heading downstairs while Jon got dressed and headed to check on David who was awake but not making any sounds so he picked him up and dressed him before going down to Damian and the twins
"Who's ready to get back to learning" Jon asked
"I am but only because it's interesting" Ellie said
"Do I have to go to school?" Tommy asked
"Yes, yes you do" Jon said
"Tommy come here let me fix your tie, how did you even do it like that" Damian asked
"I dunno I thought it was done right" Tommy replied
After they ate and packed the lunches in the bags they got into the car and made their way to the school where they let the twins out before driving home with David. They entered the house and Damian sat on the couch with David
"I'm going for my bath now and if you send Titus upstairs to join me, your sleeping on the couch for the next week" Jon said
"Then I won't, what if I send Alfred up" Damian smirked
"I wouldn't" Jon said kissing him
Jon left Damian and David in the living room just sitting there in silence
"Are you going to try talk for me or are you going to continue being silent?" Damian asked David
David just gazed off around the room dribbling all over himself and Damian
