in a sleepy daze, your hand touched the side of the bed, empty, he must've left this morning, you opened your eyes to see a dark green gift box with a white ribbon, a brown parchment note on the box, written beautifully. you opened the note before the box,

mon amour,
I promised you a new one, I had to leave a bit earlier than usual, I apologize for not being able to wake up to your beautiful face,
see you at dinner.

You opened the wrapped present, unwrapping the white ribbon, you opened the top of the box, an emerald green laced bra sat inside of the box, with two initials, D on the left side, and M on the right side, and matching pair of underwear with a snake symbol on the panties,
"What a brat." You laughed to yourself.

"What time is it?" you muttered to yourself, thinking you probably overslept from last nights events, you ended up falling asleep in the same position, your body was completely relaxed, especially getting high with Blaise before you were completely scolded by him,

you looked over to the alarm clock that never even went off, 6:23 am, "what the." you stopped yourself from cursing, "it was 4am when I fell asleep, so when did draco even leave?" yes you were completely aware of you talking to yourself, you decided to make the most of today, and eat lunch with people you dislike, wonderful. you had almost three hours until classes started, and two hours until breakfast, so you decided to make the most of getting dressed today, a little effort never hurt anyone.

showers were the most calming and therapeutic for you, the hot water that dripped on your skin felt euphoric, closing your eyes and relaxing to the beat of the water hitting the ground, the aroma that filled the bathroom hit your nose in a wonderful way, the water that kept cascading down onto your body, instantly put you in a good mood and down to take over the world with a smile on your face,

but then your mind drifted to draco, how could he have left so soon? where could he have gone at 6am? you shrugged it off, and wrapped a towel around your body, and one in your hair, you walked over to the mirror, you had under eye bags that were larger than usual, the dark circles you never found appealing, you sighed. "It's only normal, y/n, it's because you are tired and stressed." you reassured yourself, you grabbed your toothbrush that you left in his dorm, "I'm so glad I kept this here."

your usual routine wasn't too large of a routine, brush your teeth, a scrub for your face, and moisturizer, but you didn't leave your usual things, nor your make up, "I need to bring more things here." you sighed, at least you had another change of clothes, 7:20am, "I can start to leave now." You shrugged, it's almost time for breakfast, closing the door tightly behind you.

walking down into the common room, Blaise and pansy sat on the couch, Theodore on the other couch opposite of them. "Hey guys." you waved at them, pansy gave you a quick smile. Blaise didn't even acknowledge you, "where have you been?" Pansy asked, "hey darling, haven't seen you in a while." Theodore smiled at you, "hello Theo, and hello pansy. oh you know just up and down." You tried to come up with something, but nothing came to your brain. she was your roommate after all.

"we are throwing a party tonight, I expect to see you, I missed you." Pansy admitted, she wasn't bad, she used to be your friend but after Draco chose to try to make you jealous you and her hasn't spoke since then, "I'll definitely be there, I miss a good slytherin party."

"Well, shall we walk to breakfast together?" Theodore spoke out, and everyone nodded, and making their way towards the great hall, Theodore standing closer to you than usual, "so, y/n. how's your little addiction going?" Theodore raised his eyebrow, "who even asks a question like that?" You laughed, ignoring the subject.

"I can hook you up with a few things that I recently just found out about." Theodore whispered in your ear, and you turned your head to look at him with a questioning look. "make sure to be at the party tonight, I'll give you something good." he winked, and walked faster than you, catching up with Blaise.

"so, you're dating draco?" Pansy whispered, "why is everyone keep saying this?" you whispered back, "Blaise told me." she shrugged, sitting at the slytherin table, you followed her sitting next to her, awaiting for the blonde headed boy, breakfast appeared on the table, and you were definitely hungry. piling food onto your plate, and no one even mentioned anything to you because they all had the same amount of food on their plates.

"you must be starving." Taryn laughed, you squinted your eyes at the girl in front of you. "And who are you?" You questioned, and pansy placed her hand on your thigh to calm you down. "Draco's girlfriend." She replied calmly, you and pansy looked at one another before snorting with laughter loudly, "oh Merlin, keep wishing doll face." You replied, "now shoo."

"Ask him, he was with me last night." She replied, "and is that so?" you said, "yeah, he knocked on my door at 5am, begged me to let him in, and he was all over me." she shrugged, and continued to eat, "I might be pregnant." she added on, and you were so ready to bash her face in, "hey look at me." Pansy grabbed your chin and forced you to look at her. "It must be a sick prank, it's nothing." She reassured and you listened to her.

Could he have been with her? you weren't sure, your heart pounded in your chest, suddenly losing your appetite, anger filled your blood. "yeah you're right." you whispered sadly, "hey y/n?" Theodore called out for you, you snapped your head towards him. "Yes Theo?" You replied, "I wanna show you something, come with me?" He asked, and you nodded your head letting him lead the way.

Theodore lead you up to the astronomy tower, "I'm sorry about her, she's a huge pain in the ass." Theodore sighed, "you know her? I feel as if I've only seen her twice in my whole time of being at Hogwarts." You admitted, "yeah she used to be my girlfriend," and your eyes widened with that statement. "Scary tarry?" And he nodded. "Scary tarry, you remember her now?" he said.

"How can I forget? she almost burnt off my hair in 3rd year, and broke my wand in half." You sighed out loud rethinking the memory, Theodore couldn't hold in his laughter, pulling a clear bag out of his pocket. "Here doll, I think you need this." He handed you the pill, and you didn't even think twice, taking the pill into your mouth and letting it absorb onto your tongue, letting your saliva wash it down, "and what do I owe you Mr notts?" You smiled at him.

"I'll charge you tonight, you really needed it, I can tell." He shot you one last smile before leaving the astronomy tower, and it was true, it was much needed. you made your way down the steps, and walking over to your first class, you sat all the way in the back, not wanting to be seated by anyone, people rushed into the class, but your mind began to get fuzzy, and your legs were number than your usual high.

class went on, the professor barely started before the professor stopped, "ah Mr malfoy, happy to see you join us." Professor snape rolled his eyes, "sit next to miss y/l/n, and listen boy." Snape Warned, and draco made his way to you, sitting next to you, snape began to talk again, "turn to page 394." he warned everyone, and everyone quickly got to page 394, "hello mon amour." He whispered to you,

"hello." you whispered back, not taking your eyes off of your book, "are you upset with me?" he placed his hand on your thigh, and you shrugged, "I don't know, why don't you ask taryn?" Your eyes met his, "oh Merlin," he rolled his eyes, "Blaise made her say it, for revenge what I did." Draco was telling the truth, but your mind was elsewhere.

"Are you high in class right now, mon amour?" He whispered, and you nodded your head, "yes I wish I wasn't though, I can barely keep my head up." You admitted, a laugh erupted from you. "There's a party tonight," you added on, "are you going?" He asked, and you nodded. "Yes, will you?" You asked, "if you're going, I'm going."

"then it's a date." you replied, and he squeezed your thigh. "Did you get my present?" He asked, and you nodded. "Yes I did, thank you for the replacement plus one, mr malfoy."

"anything for you, mon amour. this is your world, we all just happened to be living in it."
