*Y/N POV*

You crawl sluggishly back to consciousness, your ears ringing "what happened...?" i said you cough up water and roll on your side every muscle in the body aching. As your eyes begin to adjust you realize you're back in the viewing chamber! "how...?" you said confused . you look at the other side of the chamber your friends locked in battle with the society! you push yourself to your feet, and are nearly overcome with dizziness . grimacing , you take few staggering steps forward "have to help them.." i said shuffling forward , your toes bump into something heavy you look down and see...marlinspike...from the lake!? "but how!?" i said to myself . as you stare at the spike , you feel a voice in your head , begging you to pick it up.... energy surges up into you!, filling your tired limbs with vitality and clearing your head!! "what....what IS this thing?" i said . Seeing you standing a cultist lunges forward with stun baton extended! you blindly thrust the marlinspike into the cultists shoulder! you watch as sickly black veins pulse out from the wound and up the side of his face "what in the" i said , he stumbles away from you , coughing black spittle and sinking to his knees "what did- you do to me?" said the cultist "i-i-i dont know!" i said. you step around the weakened cultist and step forward into fray! you slash the marlinspike across the back of a cultist pinning garret! just like before , black veins stand out on her skin and she crumbles to the ground in a coughing fit! "whoa " said gar "gar, i'll go help coby you go get cory out of trouble . got it?" i said "i'm on it!" said garret . as garret sprints away , you reach coby where he is being restrained by his father "let him go!" i said "my god, is that...?" said kevin. kevin takes one look at the marlinspike you're brandishing and releases coby! coby runs to you hugging you fiercely  "y/n! your okay! we we're so worried you were out there for so long and-" before cobes could finish "you foolish child! your have no idea what that artifact ic capable of!" said kevin "it's got you scared and that's all i need to know!" i said , i threaten kevin and tie him up "you'll regret this!" said kevin "y/n!" said ty , you look over to find tyler grappling with chris! "on my way!" i said . as you near , you lash out with the marlinspike! he let's go of tyler at once, cradling his gashed arms as blackness spread around the wound. "what.....what have you...?" said chris "dad..." said cody walking near chris "i trusted you....sorry dad" said cody "co-cody s-save me" said chris . Cody walks away "thank you for the assist!" said tyler "anytime!" i said "GUYS! stop lollygagging around and get damn marlinspike away from her!" said ashley . the cultist in the room take long , quaking steps. you hold the marlinspike in front of you like a shield "get back! i'm warning you!" i said.

There's a sudden rending sound and the door at the top of stairs flies open, water streaming in! "what!?" said ashley , jessica flows out of the water , her algae entangled hair streaming behind her! she points a skeletal claw at the cultist and shrieks! "kkkkkkkiiiiiiiiiiilllllllllll!!" said jessica "but--but i freed her!...why is she......" i said from out of the water , hulking, decaying forms begin to rise! "no.....no stay away! get...get away from me!" said ashley , the beats leap into action , trampling down cultists and tearing them down! the water pouring from the door suddenly surges around jessica. when it falls away, she's surrounded by floating marlinspikes! with a flick of her wrist she sends one spike fyling across the chamber to bury itself in the back of a retreating cultist! lake water continues to crash through the open hatch, wave after wave flooding the room "the door! WE'VE GOT TO GET THAT CLOSED!" i said . tyler grabs cody shoulder "gimme a hand!" said ty. they stumble up the stairs and put their full weight behind the dorr and try and force it shut against the current. Undead animals tear savagely into the cultists as they attempt to flee through the tunnel door "ashley! kev! help me!" said chris. a bear creature has chris pinned ,it's blood-stained muzzle tearing into flesh! ashley pauses a moment , exchanging glances with her husband! "i'm sorry kev.knowing that you served our cause admirably . adn they turn away from him , wading as fast as they can through the water towards the exit "wait-WAIT! ASHLE---AHHHHHH" said chris . you have to look away as chris is torn asunder by the beast's powerful jaws "DAD!!!" screamed cody .

Behind you, the airlock door finally slams shut, stoping the flow of water! "it's done let' get outta here!" said garret "come kevin, we-re almost out of th--" before ashley could finish "KILL THEM ALL! KILL THEM ALL!" said jessica , she flings another spike across the chamber! it tears though the air like a missle and hits....KEVIN! , he looks to find the spike driven straight through his heart! "no....." said ashley "DAAAAADDDD!!!!!!" screamed coby . kevin falls to his knees in the water and floats lifelessly upon the waves. his empty , unseeing eyes stare up to his wife. ashley tears her shocked gaze away from her husband's corpse and looks back at jessica with cold fury in her eyes! "you'll pay for this!" said ashley . ashley's bodygaurd slams the door shut behind .
