BETRAY!!!!

*Y/N POV*

a knock come at the cabin just moments before it opens "We're ready for you y/n . it's time" said kevin , you share a last lingering look with your friends, their faces solemn , before you all rise and follow kevin out on the deck. You exit cabin, bringing up the rear as kevin leads you and your friends towards the prow. you hear a light tinkling sound coming from the water. you peer over the railing and see something glowing in the water , bobbing gently against the hull. "is that....?" i asked "come along y/n! we need to begin the ritual" i said "okay i'm ready" i said. As you step out on the deck, you see kevin at the prow, the society members and your friends arranged in a loose circle around him. "um, thank you for waiting" i said " of course, we can't begin without you" i said "wait...ME!?" i said "for this ritual, we require a volunteer" said kevin "as it was your brother who was so tragically taken , so we thought you would want the honour" said kevin. every eye is trained on you , and you look back at them with embarrassment "i don't know...what do i have to do?" i asked  "hardly anything really . recite a few words, hold a clear image in your mind" said kevin "what the ceremony needs is a volunteer with an emotional connection to your goal.your strong feelings towards rescuing your brother should be sufficient" i said "well..if that's all i need to do...that doesn't sound so bad" i said "excellent now come forward" said kevin. You walk over to stand beside kevin at the railing, looking out at the vast expanse of mist shrouded water "there's no need to be nervous y/n , we're doing a good thing tonight" said kevin "i know....i'm just worried about chad" i said . Ashley walkes beside her husband and places a well manicured hand on your shoulder "we know dear, but this is how your gonna help him" said ashley "right" i said "are you ready to begin?" asked kevin , you stell your resolve, ready to do whatever it takes to put an end to  the ghost's reign of terror "i am" i said "good" said kevin.

 kevin reaches down into his velvet bag at his feet and pulls two objects from within it , the dagger glints in the moonlight , a rough-hewn clay bowl sitting in kevin's other hand, you take an involuntary step backwards only to bump against a cultist's shoulder "what uh... what does this ritual consist of exactly?" i asked "oh, i suppose we never discussed it did we?" said kevin "to complete the ritual , we will require , unfortunately some of your blood" said kevin "what's it for?" i asked vincent tests the edge of the knife with his fingernail "Well, it's difficult to explain...but..in essence we are draining your life force into the lake" said kevin "WHAT!?" I said , hands grab you on either side! "GET OFF ME!" i said "mom! dad! what are you doing!?" asked cory "Stop it dad!" said coby , cody swings on his wrench, his grip white knuckled around the handle "leave her alone or you'll regret it!" said cody "they're betraying the hell out of us! WHAT ARE THEY DOING?!" said tyler "i told you!" said gar , tyler takes out his baseball bat! "you had this the whole time!?" asked gar "yeah,just in case" said ty "i can't believe this! we TRUSTED you" said coby "NOW YOUR BETRAYING US?!" said cody . Robed figures continue to break from the circle to hem in your friends! "STAY BACK! i mean it! i'm not messing around!" said cory. You struggle against the cultists holding you and manage to wrench yourself free from one of them "you can't do this! i won't let you!" i said "if you want y/n! you have to get through us first!" said coby "mom! dad! stop this!" said cory "you can't do this to her!" said coby "enough! i'll deal with you later!" said ashley . Cody's wrench catches  the fingers of a cultists and they sever right off the bone as if caught in a chainsaw! "i  told you STAY BACK!" said codes . The cultists holding you let go and try to block tyler's path to ashleys , but his viciously swinging fists beat them back! "Stop them!" said kevin , your fists impacts kevin's jaw and he stumbles backwards! "you little snake!" kevin takes his clay bowl and swings it at you! "crap" you said , your barely able to shield your face as the bowl shatters against your forearms! . kevin's back hit the railing and he throws a frightened look over her shoulder at the murky water below. just as tyler pull up a fist that is sure to hit its mark , kevin holds up both his hands! "WAIT! your family! don't you want to help them?" asked kevin "what!?" said ty.
