Chapter 44

~ Brianna

"What is it?" I asked, sitting down on the bed in the room.

"So, umm, things got a bit...complicated between Taylor and me."

"What do you mean by complicated."

"Well..it's just.."

Tears filled her eyes as she spoke. I placed my hand on her arm.

"It's okay Sav," I mustered.

"He dumped me! I don't even know what I did wrong!" she cried.

"Boys are stupid."

"Says the girl with the perfect boyfriend."

"He doesn't know what he's missing out on. He's gonna come crawling back to you. Just you wait."

"I don't know."

We went silent for a moment.

"I-I think I like another guy Bri."

"Who?!"

~ Savannah

"Hey Sav, everything okay?" he asked from the driver's seat.

"Yea, I'm fine."

"Why'd you ask me to pick you up then? Was it Taylor?"

"It's nothing," I choked.

"No, it's not nothing. Don't lie to me."

"He dumped me. Just out of nowhere."

He slammed on the brakes, causing to me jerk forward, the seatbelt catching my breath.

"No he didn't!"

I nodded, feeling even worse. A tear finally escaped my eye.

"Sav.."

He got out of the car, pulling me out with him, and into a hug. We remained that way for what felt like forever as I sobbed into his chest.

"You'll be okay. He's a douche. You're a strong, beautiful girl. I can promise you, you will find someone who cares about you as much as I care about Andrea."

"Thank you Kian. That means a lot."

"Of course."

"Kian.." she sighed.

"I'm sorry..who?"

"KIAN!"

"SHHHHHHH!!"

It wasn't long before Kian himself burst through the door. I put my hand over Savannah's mouth and bit my lip.

"Did someone call me?" he asked.

"N-Nope.."

"You sure? I thought I heard my name?" he laughed.

I nodded slowly.

"Okay then.." he said a bit unsure.

He shot us a smirk before leaving. I could hear his laugh from behind the closed door.

"What the hell Sav!? Kian?!" I whispered.

"I don't know what's gotten into me," she sulked.

"Why don't we do something tonight. Just the two of us."

She looked up and smiled at me, nodding. I engulfed her in a hug.

"Thanks Brianna," she whispered.

Matt walked in, kind of out of nowhere.

"Oh, sorry, bad time?"

"No it's okay," I said, walking over to him.

Savannah followed behind and left the room. Matt and I stood in the doorway.

"Do you wanna do something tonight?" he asked.

"I was gonna spend time with Savannah, Matt."

He looked down to the ground.

"Okay, that's fine," he sighed.

"You okay?"

"Yea, I just wanna spend as much time with you as I can before the summer ends."

"I know, so do I," I said as he pulled me into a hug.

As he released, he pecked my lips.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

~ skip to later in the day

"You look hot," I said, finishing Savannah's hair and makeup.

"So do you," she said laughing.

We were both wearing short dresses and high heels.

"I feel like a slut," I giggled.

"Please..look at my dress!" she laughed.

I did some last minute touches before putting away some of the makeup we used.

"I really want you to get your mind off of...him," I said.

"I know I know.."

"So, we are gonna find you a mega sexy guy tonight, and you're gonna have a great time," I reassured her.

We skipped downstairs to the kitchen, grabbing our phones and other necessities. I was almost out the door when Matt grabbed me from behind, wrapping his arms around my waist. Savannah looked back at me and laughed.

"Just start the car up," I chuckled.

Once she was out the door. Matt released his grip a bit.

"Do you have to go out in that dress?" he complained.

"What's wrong with it?"

"Nothing's wrong with it. You look hot!"

I could tell he was smirking behind me.

"I don't want any other guys to have eyes on you. You're mine and only mine," he said, holding me tighter and resting his chin on my head.

I turned around and hugged him.

"I'd never cheat on you Matt. I love you. Don't you know that?"

"Of course I do! Just please wear something a bit more modest."

"For you Matty," I giggled, rolling my eyes.

"You love me!" he joked as I trudged up the stairs.

"Always!" I yelled back.

I changed into a black skater dress and a red flannel. I replaced the heels with combat boots. As I walked back down the stairs, Matt came towards me doing his dinosaur walk, which made me laugh.

"I love that! Oh my God!" I remarked.

He screeched, making me laugh even harder.

"You have the cutest laugh," he smiled.

I blushed hard.

"I gotta go, Savannah's probably waiting for me."

"Alright, I love you."

He pulled me into a quick kiss.

"I love you too. I'll probably see you tonight."

With that, I was out the door.
