Chapter 16

~ Brianna

Matt finally came downstairs. We waited 20 minutes for him.

"What took you so long?" I asked.

"I'm having a bad hair day," he pretended to frown, then smiled at me.

"Here lemme fix it."

I licked my fingers and reached for his hair.

"Hey! You're not putting spit in my hair."

"Hayes! Grab his head!"

"I-I'm tall enough!" he yelled, reaching.

"Shawn!"

Shawn positioned his head so I could fix his hair.

"Stop struggling," I said.

It finally looked perfect after a few minutes.

"Okay, don't touch it," I said.

"C'mon you guys! Let's go!" Carter shouted through the front door.

We all seperated into two cars and drove to the laser tag place. Once we arrived, we had to choose our tagger names.

"Nash, yours should be Hamilton. Matt, make yours Big Booty Judy."

"Okay, you can be Matt's Bae." he said.

I laughed and nodded. We entered a small room with UV lights everywhere.

"Aye! My shirt's glowing!" Matt exclaimed, looking down at his gleaming white shirt.

We were all laughing at how surprised he was. I heard a loud ringing noise and a door open.

"Begin."

We all ran into the room, trying to find a good place to hide. There was this little area right underneath one of the balconies with a door beside it, probably leading to a maintenance room or something. I then awaited the countdown.

"3, 2, 1.."

Once the voice said one, I felt someone pull me through the door. It closed behind me. The room was pitch black.

"Matt this isn't funny!"

No answer.

"Matt?"

I felt someone touching me. It for sure wasnt Matt. Something, it kinda felt like tape, was stuck to mouth. I couldn't speak.

"Don't struggle babe."

That voice was incredibly familiar. I could hardly breathe. He pulled my shirt off and rubbed up against me. He pushed me to the ground. I was breathing heavily. The room was getting darker than it already was. I could see someone kick open the door and yell something before I finally passed out.
