Since Brianna was on her date, and everyone else was hanging at the hotel, I asked Savannah if she wanted to go to the state fair. I know she's been wanting to.

"I'd love to!" She squealed.

I knew she would say yes. Once we arrived, we headed straight for the Zipper. It was our favorite ride. We love scary rides. Brianna, will ride one if you ask her, but she's more low key. After riding almost every ride (except for the boring kid rides of course) we decided to end with the Ferris wheel. My eyes wandered to the top cart. The people there looked familiar. I squinted to see if I could get a better look. It was Brianna. She was with Matt. He was talking to her, then she smiled and kissed him. She freaking kissed him. Why do I feel so jealous? I don't like her do I? If I did, I know she would never agree to date me. Matt's her dream guy. Wow, I liked her and had no idea until she was with another guy. I had all these years to make her mine and blew it. My entire body filled with rage. My mind races. I swear you could see steam coming out of my ears. I stormed away, leaving Savannah behind. I pushed past people, trying to get away.

"Tristan?!" I heard Savannah.

"Tristan!!"

I kept walking.

"TRISTAN!"

I got into the car. I feel sick. Like something's eating me from the inside out. It hurts so much, seeing her with another guy. I couldn't take it anymore. I pulled into a bar. No one checked to see if I had ID or anything. I do look old for my age. I asked the bartender for a beer and chugged it in ten seconds. I didn't really remember much after that.

I had the best time with Matt. After the ride, he took us back to the hotel, and we cuddled until he fell asleep. I decided to see if Tristan was still up. I hadn't talked to him in few days. I wanted to make sure he wasn't mad at me. I checked his room to see he wasn't there. Suddenly, the elevator door opened to reveal him, standing there. He looked exhausted, and I didn't want to frighten him, so I hid in the hall, just to make sure he got to his room okay. He was stumbling around, barely able to stand. Is he drunk? He's never been drunk in his life. I tried my best to swallow the lump that had formed in my throat as I watched him throw up in the middle of the hallway. He fumbled with the key to his room, but eventually opened the door and crashed onto the bed. He began sobbing. His quiet sobs soon turned into hysterical crying. I ran back to Matt's room in tears. He was fast asleep, cradling a pillow.

"Matt," I repeated several times while shaking him before he finally woke up.

"What's up?"

He rubbed his eyes to clear his vision. His expression changed when he noticed I was crying.

"Oh my God. Are you okay baby?" he asked, "Here sit down."

He cleared a spot for me, and I sat down next to him. He held me and kissed my forehead.

"It's okay. It's okay."

His voice was soothing. I was feeling a bit better. I love how he didn't just come right out and ask me what happened. He comforted me.

"T-Tristan," I started, "He's drunk. He's never been drunk before. I don't know why he did it. He's so lucky he ended up back at the hotel safe. He's one of my best friends. What if something happened Matt? What if he tried to drive back and got into an accident? I wouldn't live. I wouldn't."

"He's safe, that's all that matters," he said, still holding me.

I cried myself to sleep in Matt's arms. I'm so glad I have him.

I woke up with a pounding in my head. I was soaking wet. Brianna was standing over me with an empty cup in her hands.

"We're leaving in five minutes," she said.

What happened last night? I walked into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. My eyes were bloodshot and my breathe smelled horrible. I quickly fixed myself the best I could and trudged back into the room. Some clean clothes were laid out for me and my bags were packed. Brianna probably did this. I know how she hates messes. I changed before Savannah came back up to get me.

"Ready?" she asked.

I nodded and followed her to the limo. Apparently, we are staying at Cameron's family's beach house for the summer. I called my parents. I don't really get out enough, so they said I could go. We stopped at Brianna's and Savannah's houses so they could get there stuff and say bye to their parents. Once we got to mine, I quickly shoved as many clothes as I could fit in my suitcase and left a note for my parents, since they weren't home. Just as I was about to leave, I turned to see Brianna, standing there with tears in her eyes.
