~ Matt

I was so excited for my date with Brianna. I couldn't even contain myself when she said yes. But of course, being lazy, I didn't start getting ready until 6:15. I had to drive 20 minutes to pick her up. I was getting dressed when I heard a knock on the door. I wasn't wearing a shirt, but thinking it was one of the guys, I opened it. It was Acacia. This is awkward. Her and I have history, but I ended it a long time ago.

"What do you want Acacia?"

"You."

With that she pushed me over to the bed and crashed her lips onto mine. I tried my best to push her away. Once she was off of me, I could see Cameron in the doorway, staring at me.

"Cam, it's not what it looks like!" I yelled.

When I finally caught up to him, I explained to him what happened. It took a lot of talking to finally get him to forgive me. Before he left back to his room, I stopped him.

"Hey, umm, I thought you really liked Savannah?"

"Well, I thought she liked me back, but she seems more into Taylor now."

"Aww it's okay Cam. There are plenty of fish in the sea. Also, I think it would be best to end it with Acacia now. She's broken me in the past, and she's not really worth crying over."

"Thanks Matt."

By the time I got back to my room, it was already 8:15. Shit. I quickly got dressed and adjusted my hair. By the time I got to Brianna's, it was 8:45. All the lights were out from what I saw in the windows. I knocked on the door. No answer. Again. Nothing. Last time. Nada. Ugh, she probably hates me now. She trusted me, and I stood her up. I'm such an idiot.

I drove back to the hotel. I called her at least 15 times before I just gave up and texted her.

Me: I'm so sorry!! please let me explain tomorrow..maybe we could have a do-over date at around 8pm?

I fell asleep thinking about her.

~ Cameron

I already knew about Matt's past with Acacia. I guess she only got with me to get to him. How could I not see it? I should have let her go the moment he warned me. Well she's gone out our lives now, I hope.

"Cameron."

I turned around to see Savannah.

"Hey."

"You okay?"

"Yea. I should've dumped her a long time ago."

"Well, this will probably sound weird, but thanks for following me."

"Not a problem," I said giggling.

I held out my arms and embraced her in a hug. It didn't feel romantic though. She felt more like family.
