9.Hug!

“ it's Friday, ffffffrrrriiiidddddaaaaayyyy!!!!” I yelled as I pushed the glass door, entering my all plain office as I had just moved here and didn't have time to decorate it yet.

“ Morning to you too,” jess said in a less chirpy tone unlike her, she is bubbly always excited, and fun while I would be sulking in my chair.

“ oh my gosh, how are the tables turned today, Miss Jessica Walter all quiet, on a Friday evening, ” I said placing the knight enterprise files on the table. I leaned on the table facing my assistant who is busy ignoring me, or may I say lost in her world as she played with the buttons of her yellow bell sleeves t-shirt, her red hair a little out of place, unlike other times when it is neatly combed every single strand of it in its place that made me realize that she's going through something. I walked towards my grey couch where she was sitting with the laptop.

“ hey,” I said placing my hand on her shoulders she hissed suddenly, making me retrieve my hands back. She looked like she is in so much pain.

“ dude, what's wrong? Are you alright? jess!!!” I kept asking but she did not respond. She held her shoulder and shut her eyes tight. Maybe it's my fault, I must have hit her hard, but I just placed my hand gently, but still, I think I got to apologize.

“ jess sorry, I dint mean to hurt you. ” I said, I meant it.

“ Are you going crazy, this isn't your doing, I started to sleepwalk again so..” she said, getting up gently rotating her shoulder.

“ see it doesn't hurt,” she said, but she,  holding the files tightly that her knuckles started turning ghastly white gave it away.

“ yea, sure but still let's go see a doctor, ” I said turning to head out.

“ no!” she said so fast and loud that I immediately turned back, to look at her for an explanation.

“ what, how stupid this is, Today I am a girl who can't bear a little pain, tomorrow ill be the girl who will go to the doctor because an ant bit her,” she said smiling weirdly.

“ huh?” I said looking at her, not understanding a single word of what she just said.

“ I said I am not going, and by the way, I am the one who takes care of you and not the other way round, I am the mature one, and you're the kid,” she said walking towards my desk.

“ Whatever makes you sleep,” I said blowing raspberries.

“ by the way what were you telling, when you entered,” she asked arranging the files on my table.

“ yea I was saying since it's the weekend, and our employees have worked so hard these two weeks for this office to work here I decided to treat them all with pizza,” I said too excited almost tripping.

“ free food,  amazing!” she said clapping her hands with the same level of excitement as mine.

“ fine, I am calling the guy who spilled coffee all over me,” I said giggling calling the reception.

“ you are devil's incarnation," jess said laughing.

“ yes, Miss white, ” I heard from the other end stifling my laughter I answered.

“ kelly, please send the guy who spilled coffee on me last week ”

“ ok, Miss white ”. She said hanging up.

After a couple of minutes, there was a knock on my door, I immediately sat on my desk, while jess stood right beside me, we maintained a serious atmosphere to scare him.

“ come in,” I said with a dead tone.

“ ye..es, yes! ” he said stuttering. Poor guy his face looked like he is about to bust out in tears any second, his hands shivering.
