I did not understand what was going on like everything around me just disappeared.

Turning off the car engine, I composed myself. I walked towards Andrew and lexis's house the door was already open. My friends rushed towards me.

“ Did you tell him? What happened ” Andrew questioned. I looked at my hands, not understanding what and how to respond.

“ Why did you come back? ” Crystal questioned.

“ ci, did Mr. William come along?”. It was Lexi this time. I bit my lip as my mind kept wandering back to what I just witnessed, closing my eyes trying to muffle out all the sounds, a tear slipped from my eyes. A pair of arms wrapped around me.

“ it's ok dead rabbit I am here ” Damon whispered. A bunch of tears started flowing through my face. He hugged me tightly, Andrew and Lexi getting all loud, worried, and angry, crystal rushed to get me a glass of water.

“ what's going on ci? Say something I am getting scared ” Damon asked like he was talking to a baby.

I heard the sounds of cars pulling into the driveway. I opened my eyes scared, all I could think of was Philips's lifeless body.

I pushed Damon away rushing, to protect myself, wiping away the tears that fell recklessly on my cheeks, I tried to search for a safer place for me, as the footstep got closer my heart started thumping out of fear. I rushed backing myself into the wall next to the tv protectively.

Duncan walked in with his men, guilt visible on his face, his hands covered in blood, I couldn't gather the courage to look at his face. My friends stood there still trying to figure out what was going on.

Silence erupting among everyone.

“ baby girl ” Duncan called everything inside of me churning listening to the calm voice that I fell in love with, not the growling one that bought chills down my spine, I wanted to go rush into his arms hug him tightly.

He started walking towards me, I pushed myself further into the wall hurting my back.

He immediately stopped walking, standing still.

I wanted to be consoled, I wanted to be comforted, I wanted to be loved and the only person who could make me feel all this was the one I am running away from.

“ Alicia, you....” Derek started Duncan immediately shut him up.

“ Get out ” he yelled, I flinched in horror, my body trembling in fear. Tears that I managed to get rid of started flowing again.

“ Please stay ” I muttered looking at my friends pleadingly. The presence that once was the only one I needed was now the one I was scared of.

Duncan's eyes filled with guilt looking at my trembling form “ Everyone stay” he commanded.

“ baby girl? ” Duncan called again. I started walking pacing back and forth to stop my trembling body. Come on Alicia gather yourself together you're stronger than this.

I ran my hands over my face.

“ baby girl ” Duncan called his voice cracking at the end. Running his hands through his hair.

I slumped down to the floor pulling my feet closer to my body not able to bear this I am not strong, to have my heartbroken, I am not strong to watch the man I loved to be the one to be the reason behind people's worst nightmares.

“ Please say something, my love,” Duncan said, sighing I looked towards him, the blue blazing eyes staring at mine. He stood up walking towards me, I dragged my legs closer to my body scared that he could touch me.
