Duncan's pov.
I watched the beauty sprawled next to me, sleeping so peacefully. Her head resting on my chest, her hand encircling my torso. Her. brown hair falling flawlessly all over me. I held a protectively placing a kiss on her soft cheeks.
How I dreamed about this day over and over again for the past six years and here I was holding her in my arms knowing that this was going to be forever.

Six years ago.I entered the cafe dusting off the snowflakes from over my black trench coat. Wearing my black mask over my mouth, I looked around finding an empty table at the corner, next to the bookshelf choosing it as the perfect place where I could continue my work.
I placed my Bluetooth earbuds in my ears, waiting for Ray's call.
The cafe filled up with people in no time, everyone with their loved ones enjoying Christmas.
The smiles and laughter of children, the smell of delicious cookies, the beautifully decorated cafe, the white snowflakes falling on the windowpane, the cool wooshing breeze made everything more perfect.
I sighed, it's nice to have someone.
My phone rang I picked it up immediately “ Boss, I am here. Our men are already in position, he hasn't yet arrived, it will take around another couple of hours ” he said waiting for my response.
I closed my eyes running my hand through my hair.
“ go back home ” I replied.
“ what? Why? , we are this close ” he asked anxiously.
“ No all of you get back home, I'll take care of him, ”
“ But.... ” ray continued.
“ Merry Christmas Ray,” I said hoping he would get it.
“ Merry Christmas Boss ” he replied I could hear the smile through his voice.
Nobody ever deserves to be alone like me.
I made a few phone calls informing the change of plans, I was about to leave. When there was a huge crash sound.
I looked around seeing an old man on the floor, covered in eggs. I stood up about to go and help him watching that no one else was that is when a girl with brown hair sitting in front of me rushed towards him. She gently held his hand helping him up.
She dragged a chair making him sit. Her big brown eyes filled with concern checking the old man for any wounds. Looking at her my feet automatically moved towards my chair making me sit watching her.
“ are you alright? ” she asked handing him tissues to clean himself up. The innocence in her eyes, the melody in her voice so captivating.
“ I am alright little one,” he said gently tapping her head.
He tried standing up “ where you going? you got to sit, you are hurt,” she said standing up.
“ I got to clean this up, honey, it's Christmas there are a lot of customers, my son is not going to be here for another hour and I even got to take the orders,” he said, stress evident in his voice.
“ how about I clean this up, and take your orders,” she said smiling at the old man. It was the most beautiful sight, I could sit there and just watch her forever.
“ no no I can't keep you here, you would have to be somewhere else it's Christmas,” he said limping walking towards the counter.
“ I am not going to let you do this by yourself, fine how about you give me cupcakes as a reward,” she said with a smile.
