I got down the stairs the beautifully decorated house, the perfectly decorated Christmas tree the height of teddy, immediately bought a smile on my face.

Everything about Christmas was what I liked, from carols, Santa's, laughter, Joy, the whooshing breeze, the white snow glittering with lights, and most of all to be with the one you loved.

This Christmas was going to be different, in so many ways a thousand times better than any other Christmas I ever saw.

I walked towards the couch, my oversized hoodie falling up to my knees. I couldn't sleep, I kept tossing and turning, looking at how peacefully Duncan was sleeping, and not wanting to wake him up, I decided to watch a movie but couldn't as I was so smitten by the fairy lights lighting up the Christmas tree.

“ baby girl! ” Duncan called walking down the stairs in his boxers, the toned muscles on his chest, supporting his huge bulky arms. With a sleepy smile, he looked at me.

“ Teddy ” I replied smiling back.

He came sitting next to me, placing his head on my shoulder, his hand around my waist, drawing tiny circles over my belly.

“ aren't you cold?” I asked placing my hand on his bare chest.

“ hmm I was, now I am not,” he said holding my hand in its place.

“ Gosh, you and your flirting how am I ever going to get used to it,” I asked chuckling.

“ That's going to be difficult baby girl because you're stuck with me forever,” he said placing a kiss on my bare shoulder.

“ na, that's not going to be a problem I could find someone else...” before I could finish, he turned me making me lay flat on the couch, hovering over me, his face inches apart from mine.

A mischievous smile playing on his face, moving dangerously close to me.

“ what were you saying baby girl ?” he questioned. I placed one hand over his chest, the other hand pulling him closer.

Startling him.

“ I was saying..” I said looking at the clock behind me while he looked at me expecting.

“ Merry Christmas Mr. William,” I said crashing my lips on his as the clock struck twelve.

He turned us around so that now I was on top of him “ Merry Christmas Mrs. William ” he said a bright smile playing on his lips. While I was panting like a dog.

“ I love you, Teddy,” I said laying on him, my head peaking up just enough to look at him.

His eyes shining like the stars in the sky, his face lightning-like a moon.

“ I love you too baby girl,” he said hugging me. A tear slipping the side of his cheek.

I quickly sat up straddling his waist, I leaned forward holding his face in my hands. Gently rubbing away the stray tear.

A smile formed on his face.

I leaned forward placing kisses all over his face giggling, making him chuckle as well.

“ what's wrong teddy? ” I questioned once I knew he was alright.

“ hmm, I was just thinking that how God loves me the most, he gave me more than I ever imagined or ever asked for. He gave me you ” he said placing a stray strand of my unruly hair behind my ears.

“ that I can't deny, I know I am amazing ” I replied flipping my hair behind.

“you're the little blessing everyone deserves on Christmas,” he said it sounded so familiar like something someone said years ago.
